"I liked how quiet it was, although the highway was closed at Roger's pass at the time. I liked the cabin very much and the beds were very comfortable! It's a very back to nature experience there! Anybody arriving wishing to check in, should call the number in front of the ark if there isn't anyone around, I spoke to a very nice lady on the phone who told me which cabin we were in and she kindly advised us what to do 🙂 we would love to stay there again one day."

It's a bit far from city center and from restaurants, so few options for vegetarians like me.

"The property location was great easy to find and if you know negril it’s on the hip strip. The property was well kept and clean. It’s a home away from home. The host was exceptional with constant checking up to ensure everything was going smoothly. I would definitely recommend an for future stay. "the bungalow was clean and confortable, breakfast was very complete with cheese, eggs, meat,salad... the space is quiet and just next to the river. there is WiFi in the restaurant and hammocks and chairs to chill in the compound. Good value for money."

There was no hot water in the showers, otherwise we would have stayed another night.

The walk to to the beach is not bad it is right across the street however it is not a main beach so make sure to have water shoes. we didn't swim there and walked down to the area's with most of the resorts. That is a solid 20-30 minute walk one way. The only issue with walking was that if you want restaurants they are down there so having a car would be more convenient.

Very bad internet but it was not essential for us. A bit hard to find - we got the turn from the main road on the third try and we used navigation. The turn is just in a very inconvenient location, you have to be very careful with the traffic when you go there.

A bit tricky for drivers to find the lobby but staff helped me communicate with them

A little more effort on the cleaning (towels with stain) would have been nice, place is difficult to get to but that's part of the charm

"Peaceful location with a beautiful garden, spacious and comfortable rooms and very amazing hosts. They gave us tea and a bottle of their fantastic homemade lavender shampoo made from herbes harvested in the garden. It is a sustainable little paradise."

The window on the ceiling let in a little too much light, but this is only a problem on the bed below it (and it heats up the room very well during the day - which is crucial due to the cold nights).
