"The room was lovely, bright and away from the main road so there wasn't much noise,, the breakfast was ok, we came down a bit late so the eggs were quit dried out, but everything else was good. the location was great, we came off at Reading Station and the hotel was 2 mantes walk from the station, and the shopping area was right there, loads of places to eat. it was a great stay."
"The Lifts was very slow to come up and down, plus one was not working so there was always a que for the lifts. Also the Steam room was out of order, so that was a shame."

"Bit of an odd layout with toilet separate to bathroom - not even a sink with the toilet! Very limited supply of tea/coffee etc in the room - could have done with more. Bar drinks tasted odd- not sure if diluted but not very nice, all 4 of us guests agreed & each had something different. Didn’t stay for a second drink."

"The hotel is very close to the station and within the town centre. The rooms are clean and tidy, with the usual presentation of a Novotel. It's good to have the pool and sauna/steam room. Breakfast was quite good."
"The lifts seem to be quite slow at times and I found the same issue with the pool as other guests - seemed to be full of children which makes me wonder if families can pay to use the pool as non-guests. Hopefully the hotel can clarify this in response."
