"The property was a perfect fit for two families with 7 people. The kids get to have their own room, and the two families have separation of space, yet easy to get together via indoor access. It's also situated in a quiet neighborhood at a convenient location, close to downtown, restaurants, and attractions. The property also has good views outside the windows."

We couldn't get the range hood to work. If you plan to do heavy cooking, you may need to open the windows to vent out the smell and smoke. The shower glass on the second floor is too short to block the water from splashing out. The tub can be slippery when it is wet, so it would be nice if the host could consider providing a rubber mat.

"Convenient, clean, spacious, basic accom with a kitchen, and good value. Host was responsive to requests and minor issues.It was cool enough at night with just fans."

Some more information about laundry options. Hot water was not working in our unit. So pending repair this was accommodated with option of moving into another apartment or using the bathroom for showers in that one, which was your preference. It would be nice to have some bedside lights.

"Perfectly located on Glasgow's West End in walking distance to the city centre, the University of Glasgow and Kelvingrove Park just around the corner. Argyle Street and Sauchiehall Street, both just minutes away, with their many choices for food and drinks, are great for both lunch and dinner. The flat was in a quiet neighbourhood, and we enjoyed our stay so much."

The actual location of the apartment was not exactly as indicated on the booking.com map, which was not so good for us.

"Jeg likte beliggenheten og selve rommet. Helt topp at det også var tilgang på vaskemaskin og tørketrommel. Nærmeste MRT var Clark Quay og dit kunne man gå langs elva gjennom underganger så man slapp å krysse veien."

Jeg var ukomfortabel med alt det digitale, strevde med å bruke digital nøkkel på min mobiltelefon, og synd å ikke ha en resepsjon å henvende seg til.

"The apartment is very well located and exceptionally clean, loved staying here and enjoyed the amazing city view."

The only downside was the lack of basic hygiene items like towels and soap. Overall, a great place to stay!

Es liegt sehr zentral und verfügt über einen eigenen Parkplatz, so dass eine Parkplatzsuche nicht notwendig ist. Nahezu direkt unter dem Appartement befinden sich ein ganz kleiner Laden, in dem man das Nötigste (z.B. Getränke) erhält. Ein paar Meter weiter befinden sich eine Apotheke und eine Möglichkeit für Geldwechsel. Auch der Markt für frisches Obst und Gemüse ist nicht weit entfernt. Das Appartement selbst ist wunderschön. Man merkt, dass es gut gepflegt wird! Es ist sauber und ordentlich und die Vermieterin ist jederzeit erreichbar und sehr hilfsbereit, wenn es doch mal Fragen gibt. Wir waren rundum zufrieden und können das Appartement nur weiterempfehlen!"

"This is my second time staying at Mei Place and it’s been an absolute pleasure. The staff is super sweet, the rooms are cleaned every day. It’s very spacious and has a beautiful garden and rooftop with a pool. There’s even room to store food and drinks in the fridges and depending on which accommodation you book there’s even kitchens that you can use. It’s also located close to nyali center and the beach and a lot of nice restaurants! Well worth the price and I’d always recommend staying here."

"Vi var ute etter et sted å sove mens vi var på sykkelferie. Veldig fin leilighet. God valuta for pengene. Kort vei til sentrum og til alpin bakkene for sykling. Rolig. Stor og fin parkering. STOR veranda med god plass!"

De platene og ristene inni ovnen passet ikke til ovnen. Så vi måtte bruke bakeplate nederst for å bygge opp risten til baggiser. Dobbeltsenga sklei litt fra hverandre. En overmadrass som er for sobbeltsenger hadde vært bedre men ikke noe problem. Mye støv på hveranda, men vanskelig å gjøre noe med siden parkeringen er utenfor.

"Apartamento totalmente remodelado, tem uma óptima localização mesmo perto da praia. A cozinha está bem equipada. A chave tem que se ir buscar ao café “Amadeu” onde o Sr. que nos recebeu foi bastante simpático e atencioso."

"Decent apartment, location very good, near to beaches and tennis courts, ideal for those with bikes like us especially. Grocery store not far away on site - this one is quite expensive so would advise shopping at Spar or Lidl which are a 12 minute drive away. Soar has a good selection of cooked food so you can buy meals there quite cheaply to save time. Atmosphere on the site is nice, and no problems with noisy guests. 2nd year in a row staying there, hopefully will return again."

The properties never have enough electrical sockets, so bring an extension cable or you’ll have problems charging phones etc.

"Excellent, large clean apartment with huge beds and a cosy sun room. Well equipped and conveniently situated in a quiet friendly village."

The hot water supply took a while to get used to but no issues thereafter.

"Lovely double aspect room with lots of sunshine coming into the room. Loved the balcony - but could be a problem in the height of the season as it would have been overlooked if the rooms near ours was occupied as their balconies were very close. I would have loved to use the swimming pool if it had been heated, but being that our stay was in March the water was too cold."

The description of the location was a little misleading as one of the pubs mentioned had closed down - some years ago, but the details had not been amended on the website - which did in fact influence our choice in Sandpiper’s favour, and we were disappointed that it wasn’t nearer the supermarket mentioned in the write-up, either. Also, I put my suitcase in the corner of the bedroom flat - and when I moved it, I could see it had picked up a lot of dust, indicating that the corners of the bedroom weren’t very well cleaned!
