Loved the balcony - but could be a problem in the height of the season as it would have been overlooked if the rooms near ours was occupied as their balconies were very close. I would have loved to use the swimming pool if it had been heated, but being that our stay was in March the water was too cold."

The description of the location was a little misleading as one of the pubs mentioned had closed down - some years ago, but the details had not been amended on the website - which did in fact influence our choice in Sandpiper’s favour, and we were disappointed that it wasn’t nearer the supermarket mentioned in the write-up, either. Also, I put my suitcase in the corner of the bedroom flat - and when I moved it, I could see it had picked up a lot of dust, indicating that the corners of the bedroom weren’t very well cleaned!

"This is my second time staying at Mei Place and it’s been an absolute pleasure. The staff is super sweet, the rooms are cleaned every day. It’s very spacious and has a beautiful garden and rooftop with a pool. There’s even room to store food and drinks in the fridges and depending on which accommodation you book there’s even kitchens that you can use. It’s also located close to nyali center and the beach and a lot of nice restaurants! Well worth the price and I’d always recommend staying here."

"My family had a wonderful experience. The check in process was easy. It's important to inform the staff about time of arrival. Also I texted and emailed before hand and the staff were responsive. The rooms were clean and comfortable. My favorite part was the full kitchen . We were able to cook our own meals. Another favorite are was the washer and dryer. 3 rooms were located on the second floor and my family was very comfortable with the set up. The location was around 5 minute drive to Tumon beach and the malls. It's important to have a car rental when renting this apartments. It was a great value for money. I would stay here again"

The staff did their very best to ensure we enjoyed our stay, they were very attentive. The property was perfect for me and my whanau (family) we live near the ocean in NZ. We enjoy being near the ocean and forest. A great opportunity for all to rejuvenate mind and body. We were all able to relax and enjoy the private beach. We were very grateful and blessed for their assistance with the option of a late check-out and help with transport to Uturoa Airport. The accommodation was very comfortable, clean and spacious. The Kitchen/pantry storage and dining area's were clean perfect for our needs. We will be back. Tau Ke!!"

"The apartment complex was in a fabulous location and it was nice to have a living area downstairs and a garden area as extra space (though we didn't end up using either much). The apartment had everything we needed and the balcony was lovely too - excellent mountain views."

It would have been nice to have a bit more information about how you hire bikes and use the laundry (both had a charge) provided in the folder in the flat, but Edi was very good at replying to our questions.

The adress was a little bit complicated because the entrance is in the inner part of the block.

"It is very spacious with three souble bed rooms and two bathrooms. The hosts are welcoming and provided a great dinner. The roti especialmente recommended! There is a bedelt private beach at the end of the Road with the best waves. You Will need a car and some hability with drive-ins and parking (as on the entire island!)"

"The property was a perfect fit for two families with 7 people. The kids get to have their own room, and the two families have separation of space, yet easy to get together via indoor access. It's also situated in a quiet neighborhood at a convenient location, close to downtown, restaurants, and attractions. The property also has good views outside the windows."

We couldn't get the range hood to work. If you plan to do heavy cooking, you may need to open the windows to vent out the smell and smoke. The shower glass on the second floor is too short to block the water from splashing out. The tub can be slippery when it is wet, so it would be nice if the host could consider providing a rubber mat.

Every thing was good for the price there was nothing that was realy missing maby a bit more kitchen were if people would want to cook there something but not realy anything else.

From day 1 the ceramic cook top on the stove did not work.They sent a man to look at it, he could not get it to work.Nothing was done to try and fix it for the 7 days we were there.. No sharp knife to cut meat etc.no can opener. No hair conditioner. No phone to call reception, we were on the 9th floor. Had to keep going up and down to see them for anything you needed. No came to clean our room or even change our towels for the 7 days we were there.We had to go down to reception to request clean towels.Then they insisted we brought the used ones to them 1st, before giving us clean ones.But this shocked us the most, they said if we wanted .more clean ones later in the week, we had to PAY for them. The washing machine did not work properly. The TV did not work, had to get someone up to reprogram it. Neither coffee or tea was provided. But they had a coffee machine in the lobby,BUT that did not work either for the 7 days we were there. They said they had a small shop to sell essentials. But it was hardly ever open, we it was it had next to nothing in it. They have a roof top swimming pool, which trying to getvin and out of was really dangerous. The bars you held onto were not fixed properly with screws to hold it in place missing. The top step was missing altogether, when we tried to get in , not realizing the top step was not there I slipped down to the second step missing it going between it and the wall getting stuck, my wife still not in the pool and a man in the pool has to help me out, really scary and dangerous. I told reception about it , they apologized saying they would send a maintenance man to look at it.But like everything else they said they would fix, NOTHING was done for the 7 days we were there, consequently we did not use the pool again. The water in the taps and shower were far far too hot , scalding hot 🔥, very dangerous.
