"Die Unterkunft war sehr gut gelegen und erreichbar. Parkmöglichkeiten waren ebenfalls in direkter Nähe. Die Ferienwohnung war gut ausgestattet und haben uns sehr willkommen und wohlgefühlt 🙂. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen 🥰🥰🥰"

Das einzige was es zu bemängeln gab, das keine Handtücher vorhanden waren. Es gab kein Hinweis das diese nicht mit inbegriffen ist bzw diese gegen Aufpreis erhältlich sind. Leider war es auch etwas staubig und einiges an vorhandene Geschirr sehr klebrig. Dafür gibt's es aber Hände was somit schnell behoben werden könnte. Das ist aber Kritisieren auf hohem Niveau......Wie gesagt es sind wirklich nur Kleinigkeiten. Dennoch würde diese Unterkunft jeden empfehlen.👍🙂

"Excellent location, just a short walk from Lonnoc Beach and a 15 minute walk from the famous Champagne Beach; 20 minute ride to Port Olry. There is a small village (Hog Harbour Village) nearby, about a 20 minute walk, where you can buy local bread and fruit. Accommodation is very basic but serves its purpose. Mosquito coils and nets are provided. The local who looked after us, Melody, was very welcoming and kind, and made us delicious breakfasts and dinners. There were no kayaks available but they can be rented from the neighbouring Lonnoc Beach Bungalows."

Drainage in the shower is poor and the floor quickly becomes wet and muddy. Facilities are very worn out. The room has no shelving to put your belongings; this would be a great improvement. If you are on a budget, keep in mind that pretty much the only food options in the area are the restaurants at the lodge or at neighbouring accommodations, where a meal costs 1500-2000 vatu per person. The food is delicious though and there are local dishes - the paw paw curry was phenomenal.

"La cabane est de très bonne qualité, spacieuse avec un pont qui donne sur une petite terrasse. Un salon est également à disposition sous la cabane avec un bbq. La cabane est très bien agencée avec ce qu’il faut, notamment un grand frigo, de la vaisselle et de quoi faire la cuisine. L’endroit est très bien situé au calme entre Bouillante et Deshaies. A 50m de la maison cacao et duke plage de galet. Les plages de sable sont entre 7 et 15mn en voiture. L’endroit parfait pour se dépayser. Liliane est une personne formidable qui conseille volontiers et est à dispositions en cas de besoin. Nous avons adorés ce séjour."

"The cottages are nicely located, with enough space between them for privacy and nearby the river. The hotel restaurant was very nice and convenient, as well as the bread service in the mornings. And the beds were good."

The bathroom was extremely tiny. Literally showering above the toilet, smaller than boat cabin bathrooms! Quite weird for the given space in the cottage. Also the cooking facilities were fairly cramped, you cab only fit 2 small pans if you're lucky. However, it worked out well enough for us. Lastly, there are a lot of playground facilities for the kids, which sounded nice, but they were also located right in front of (most of) the cottages, which can make it quite noisy (depending on which children are playing there).

"Everything. We've been before and we really like everything about it. It's such a friendly place and the owner and the couple who oversee the property are so helpful and caring."

There's nothing that we don't like. We love to walk and adore the narrow streets. The location is central but the geography of Bang Tao means that there's always a good walk to get to our favourite places.

Such a beautiful colourful - African Style accommodation. delicious breakfast, clean room and a beautiful exotic garden. The all the staff were very friendly, helpful and informative. "This is an exceptional place to stay. The attention to detail, the artistic touches, make you feel that you're not just renting a room, but that you are experiencing something really special. The hosts are some of the nicest people around, always ready with hot coffee in the morning, a delicious breakfast and the yummiest dinners. You get to sleep in a work of art, and this is what makes this place so rare and so special."

This is a personal preference, but we found the pillows quite hard. But honestly, when you wake up in a tree house, the pillow thing is really a tiny issue, which gets forgotten about the moment you open your eyes, and you see the gorgeous waterfall on the property, the resident squirrel and the 2 dogs Bobby and Ania ❤️

"First of all hosts are just amazing people! Location was great, away from crowd with amazing grass fields where our dogs could run all day long. I mean it was generally great experience but one again, HOSTS ARE AMAZING! :)"

Well weather wasn't in our favor those days, but even that didn't ruin our holiday. We stayed inside , next to fireplace, watching rain/snow outside :)

Le petit chemin qui mène jusqu'à l'hébergement est un peu difficile à emprunter. Surtout avec les bagages.

"A wonderful , basic cabin located in the arguably the best location on the island . Surrounded by acres of exotic fruit and native forest beyond. Birdlife is prolific. This is a place to stay for birdwatching with flocks of African grey parrots, kingfishers, egrets .. and so much more to see.. Excellent value meals can be brought to your table daily. Freshly caught fish, local grown fruit and rice. No need to cook . It's good quality and great value. Bring cash for guides and daily, national park entry fees . The beach is amazing ... REALLY"

Ensure you have bought a local sim-card, loaded with data before arriving. Wifi may not work. Also, before arriving, stop at a supermarket and buy sufficient drinking water for your stay. ( 2 litres per person per day minimum ). Bring mosquito spray for your jungle walks and be prepared to rough it .

"The beds are extremely comfortable, the check in super easy, the cottage is super cozy, warm and has everything you need for cooking. The location is great, in a secluded spot, absolutely peaceful. We love the dogs, it was a bonus be able to pet and play with them."

Due to my carelessness, I thought the Smyrr cottage had a shower (the photos only show a sink and toilet, but I assumed the shower just wasn't in the photo), so if you're staying longer, you might want to take that into consideration.

"I absolutely loved the place! I came together with my friend with intention to relax and chill. The place was super cozy, relaxing and in a lovely calm area. When we came in november, there were still some wedding decoration left on the staircase (from the owners sons wedding the month before), and as a future bride myself I felt enchanted! I definitely recommend this place either for a lovely ladies night, or a romantic getaway, or a fun holiday with a bunch or friends. Greetings from Joanna and Monika"

I was not impressed with the fact that I was asked to pay additional fees charged by the host on checking my booking these fees were not added to my original booking at the time of booking the property. The host explained that these are the fees chargred by booking.com to her which I suspect is passed on.

"Really comfy, tidy, well equipped place. The hosts were very friendly, they even contacted us with a neighbor of them who gave us a (paid) tour to different destinations. The supermarket around the corner was very handy, it helped us reducing costs during the trip. On the other hand, we used public transportation, but I would suggest to rent a car if you are a group of 3 or 4. We had a really good stay, so we highly recommend Casa Chiquito :)"

Nothing, everything was fine. Just for the sake of continuous improvement, it’d be good if the draining of the shower could be improved but I can imagine it is significant work (it is certainly not critical at all, though).
