Poseidon Bungalows

"Omgivelsene er helt fantastiske. Det ligger litt lengre unna fra Khao Lak senter, så man får den fineste stjernehimmelen når det blir mørkt. Stedet har sin egen badeplass, som gjør at man føler seg helt alene. Ekte bungalows, med havutsikt. Masse dyreliv og fine planter på området. Det er som å bo i en botanisk hage. Virkelig paradis! Staff var også super hyggelige, spesielt Pim som alltid møtt oss med god energi på frokost/lunsj. De hadde også god mat. Jeg elsket papaya shake og tunfisk sandwich:)"

"Man bør leie en scooter for å komme seg rundt da bungalows ligger litt lengre unna fra Khao Lak sentrum. Men det bør man uansett ha når man bor i Khao Lak for å utforske området ordentlig… Olav (eieren) leier ut scootere. Vår var litt sliten, og hadde noen små feil, men vi kom oss rundt med det likevel!"

"This felt like a real hidden gem in a quiet and peaceful part of Khao Lak, with very good access to a small private beach and nearby beaches and town. A truly lovely location at the mouth of the river and Poseidon beach (with massive boulders!), elevated bungalows with balconies in the mature jungle tree canopy. Really relaxed atmosphere with a homely vibe from staff. Such lovely ladies who ran the restaurant area, very well accommodating for all diets and of all ages. The perfect place to spend our last few days in Thailand, highly recommend and would love to stay again."

"Beautiful gem directly at the beach in a junglely environment. A lot of Wildlife. Dont expect luxuary, as the interior is quite basic and not the newest. But really good food, welcoming and really helpful staff, and a really lovely, quiet and dreamy place."

"Very comfortable Beach Bungalow with AC & Fridge, set in lush greenery, 50m from a small private beach. Larger beaches very nearby at a walkable distance. Breakfast options were excellent."

"Water pressure in the shower was a little light. Restaurant was good but selection of drinks was limited."

"Big bungalow w seaside view. Amazing sunset. Private shore access. Friendly staff which help with directions. Geckos on the bungalow walls add to the superb vibe. Overall clean, spacious bungalow. I reccomend arriving by rental car or taxi though I expect the staff to be helpful in that regard."

"The bungalows are a little taste of paradise. You are in the jungle but also on the beach! The views are stunning! The sounds at night are beautiful. It is family run. Olov, his wife & son and the ladies that work there are wonderfully beautiful souls. They are so helpful and absolutely nothing is too much trouble. Food is great and the same price as you'd pay in any restaurant. The shop is about a 10 minute walk away so you literally have no foot traffic near the bungalows. Rooms are really clean and simple. Everything that you need for a chilled time. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there."

"This isn't the bungalows fault but it was quite noticeable..... the rubbish washed up on the beach was quite bad. I am not sure who is responsible for cleaning it as it isn't a private beach."
