At that price I expected a ceiling fan ,especially with the high humidity, and a hot shower , even under a black solar bag . And a linen change should have happened, after a few hot and humid nights , the sheets become greasy and unpleasant to sleep on .

Organised tours available for guests from tourist agencies, for self organised guests rent-a-car is the only option for sightseeing. Some facilities require better maintenance.

"Alt er perfekt,enkelt sagt. Familievennlig sted,vi var veldig fornøyde,bra service. Spaområdet er enestående. Maten var fabelaktig,ingen kan være sulten på dette hotellet,det er bare å si "smakfult""

"Magic Reef is a beautiful resort, very relaxing. The bungalows are well equipped and the bed was very comfortable. It was also great to have our own comfortable lounge chairs on the deck to take in the views out over the reef, watching the waves crashing and the sun setting which was all simply breathtaking. There are a few really good restaurants within walking distance down the beach, making it a perfect spot for a relaxing time. We hired a car for a couple of days to explore around the island, enjoy some beach swimming, snorkeling and to eat at some different restaurants. The pool was great, lovely temperature and depth. Our hosts and all the staff were friendly, helpful and we enjoyed talking with them. Thanks for the beautiful platter in the fridge, the beers, juice etc which was so appreciated. We would highly recommend Magic Reef if you like a small boutique resort."

"Great pools, no rush to grab a lounger in the morning, comfy bed, good shower, excellent location right in the middle of The Gap. The crazy golf course was superb! Gardens were large and well kept."

Bar was expensive so no-one really used it. Pure Ocean restaurant was just ok. Apartment was a bit tired in places. Felt it was expensive for what it was but worth paying the extra for pool/garden view.

"Veldig hyggelig og hjelpsomt personale. Rent rom, og veldig bra beliggenhet med bare få minutters gange til stranden. Ligger nær veien, men vi ble ikke plaget av støy derfra. Vi bodde der i 3 uker, og vi ville ha booket der igjen."

They brought meals in from outside restaurants. Instead of 2 tiny water bottles per day they provided a 20 litre water dispenser. The pool overlooked the black pebbly beach. The surrounding area was not overwhelmed by tourists and the locals were 1980's friendly."

We didn't like leaving.

If butter is served cold and honey is included, then it will become better.

It was not easy to get service on the tables near the beach. The sun beds did not have cushions so were uncomfortable to lay on.

In general, I really did like the property. It is perhaps not as fresh as it could be however that is part of its attraction.

"The hotel is located very close to the beach, you can also use the outdoor and indoor pool. The indoor pool is especially nice when the weather is colder. The price also includes a nice wellness. It is great to have the option to buy lunch and dinner. All the food was excellent."

"Staff is amazing, the kindest people we’ve met in Ulcinj over the last 10 years. Everything is super clean, location is perfect, the breakfast is nice. Overall, a great experience for a family with a toddler!"

"Primarily the location which is simply spectacular. The room was fine and comfortable and the bathroom clean and good size with a great shower. Almost as good as the location is the staff. The two gentlemen in reception, especially Mr. Hamed were extremely friendly, attentive and helpful. Equally spectacular service from the ladies in the restaurant."

The bathroom fluorescent lights - irritating buzzing and horrible light shade. It would be nice to change those to LEDs.

"Our suite came with a hot tub on the balcony. It was beautiful view and the rooms were super comfortable. The suite also came with a glass of wine and complimentary breakfast buffet the next day. It was very pleasant and nice. We enjoyed our stay."
