"I had an excellent stay at Top Lodge, certainly, an improvement from my previous stays here. The staff was incredibly friendly and professional, ensuring a warm welcome and attentive service throughout. The lodge itself was impeccably clean, and the pool area provided a perfect spot for relaxation. Additionally, the breakfast served at Top Lodge was simply delicious, and filling. "The place and outlook are very nice on the vulcano, from room and from jacuzzi :) The secret hike trail is very nice and should not be missed (Mariposa trail?). Jacuzzi is also very nice extra."

Breakfast could be a little more. You can choose from a menu. It was good, but an additional side or some bread would be nice. The street to the hotel could better maintained.

"If you want a peaceful, calm and stunning environment, this is the place. It is simple, but has everything you need in a beautiful setting. Perfect for nature lovers who don't want to be on top of other guests."

Was a bit musty smelling, but after being opened up and aired out and a candle or two it was perfect.

"Beautiful surroundings, so calm. The host is incredibly helpful and kind. This refuge is his personal project, and you can see his passion. The surrounding villages are small but lovely to walk through. There are nice hikes possible, including to the peak of Mount Agou, the people on the paths will kindly guide you to your destination. They are truly kind."

The location on the map is slightly off, ask for a pin before you arrive to make sure you find the right place!

1. There was no Iron in the room (it is written in the room facilities) 2. Noisy neighbours (they celebrated birthday and used equipment for loud music and jumped in the pool)

"Everything was exceptional - the hospitality, the service, the setting, the food, the environment. The service was some of the best I have ever experienced. The safari guides were exceptionally knowledgeable - we learned a great deal and thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of every game drive. The food was 10/10 - I am gluten free and they prepared a separate menu for me every meal time. Cannot recommend this place highly enough!"

"Veldig vennlig personell som hjalp oss med det vi måtte trenge. Lodgen ligger mitt i naturen med en helt nydelig utsikt! Dette var et rimelig sted å bo, som gjorde det mulig for oss å bruke penger på flere opplevelser! Var heller ikke noe lydforurensning fra andre enn de som var på hotellet."

For å komme til lodgen måtte man opp et par utrolig bratte bakker, i tillegg til noen smale broer, noe som gjorde det litt skummelt, og vi følte ikke vi kunne spørre taxier som ikke hørte til loggen om å kjøre opp dit. Men vi leide en varebil, som min kjæreste (som har mye erfaring med bil) klarte å kjøre opp hver dag vi var der - men det var såvidt. Det var også lytt mellom rommene, så man hørte når de på naborommet pratet.

Staff very helpful and food good value for hotel facilities. Ample breakfast included too. They offer excursions but we did not try due to lack of time. Hotel arranged transfer to airport which was perfect."

I found the bed a little uncomfortable and i would prefer 2 pillows per person. The driveway is steep...a little intimidating for us Europeans! But we had a 4 wheel drive so we were fine.

"Vakkert område rundt hotellet. Gode rom og balkong. Fantastisk ytsint til Mekong og solnedgang Svømmebasseng som var rent og hadde belysning om kvelden. Fantastisk god mat."
