"The hostel was pretty clean. The staff at the reception were friendly, helpful, and patient. They have a lot of knowledge about tourism in Bagan and were always happy to give advice or answer questions. It was also very convenient that they can help you book buses directly at the hostel, and that you can rent e-bikes. Another big plus is the atmosphere. The hostel is social, but not in an overwhelming way. It’s not loud or pushy. There are great opportunities to connect with other travelers if you want, but you can also just sit by the pool and enjoy some quiet time. I think this place is perfect both for people looking for peace and quiet and for those who want to meet others."

There wasn’t much to complain about. The only small improvement I can think of would be adding curtains to the beds, which would give a bit more privacy.

Not easy to access by bike

"I was a single room in a Hostel, worked for me as I was working. Shared Bathroom and Toilet and it worked well for me. There was a kitchen downstairs and it was close to the town. I was able to park."

Maybe room door lock could be improved. Otherwise it met expectations

"Hyggelige mennesker, hyggelig personale og en laidback stemning så det føltes mer som et hjem enn andre lignende steder. Også nærme flotte strender med mulighet for utleie av seilbåter, seilbrett og kitesurfing."

"The owner was vey kind. He let us check in early as we took an overnight bus to Siwa. The room was very comfortable and we were able to use the facilities even after check out as we were waiting for our next overnight bus! Thank you for such kind hospitality!"

"Fantastisk stedt på fjellet i Polen. Personalet er utmerket, hyggelig og fleksibel. Det er ikke et vanlig hostel. Har får du gratis nydelig frokost og te og kaffe tilgjengelig hele dagen og grill mat på lørdager. Huset ligger i skogen, ikke så langt fra Zakopane men lagt fra bråket. Utrulig hyggelig stedt med uforglemmelig atmosfære. Anbefales"

"The landlady was very kind and polite. She provided all the necessary things like flip flops, towel and wifi password. The bed was very comfortable surprisingly. Would definitely recommend it!"

"Eneste jeg likte var at det var universitetets lokaler, og føltes trygt å bo der."

Det jeg betalte her var absolutt bortkastet pengene. Tolerer som en donasjon til universitetet, men det var elendig. Det føltes som 100 år gammelt rom, jeg ble først satt i kjellerrom rett ved hovedveien ute, selv om det var mange ledige rom i over etasjene. Har nærmest ingen fasiliteter. Dagen etter var vann borte, uten at jeg fikk noe varsel.

Sehr rustikal, viele Moskitos im Zimmer, die ziemlich genervt haben, kein Ventilator, aber zum Schlafen gab es aber ein Moskitonetznetz! leider hat es immer wieder geregnet und da das Badezimmer draussen war, musste ich durch den Regen, am WC hat es auch geregnet, Kakalaken in der Dusche und dem WC

"I tried a hostel for the first time and honestly, it couldn’t have been better. I went in a little sceptical, but a close friend strongly recommended this place—and it completely lived up to (and surpassed) my expectations. The property itself is stunning, perfectly located (a walkable radius from most important landmarks), with a rooftop view that’s hard to beat. But what really made the experience was the vibe—there’s such a natural sense of community here that just pulls you in. What I loved and will miss the most were the owners and staff, who are easily some of the warmest, most genuine people I met on this trip. Somehow managed to feel like I’d known them for ages by the time I left. Left with a full heart and would 100% want to stay here again."

"Just that the main gate gets locked and you will have to call or knock until you are heard. So don't stay out for long at nights."

"Stunning setting, dynamic staff, interesting fusion of accommodation and working plant nursery. Bathroom feels like you are in the middle of the Amazon. Very refreshing."

Locating the Da Terra at night is not straightforward. It is surrounded by several houses and some distance off the road.

"The hostel is in the heart of Antwerp, it’s walkable distance from anywhere. We got access to our room very early which was a nice surprise. Our beds were comfortable and the shared spaces were alright. I liked the decor. Our stay came with a free breakfast, which was absolutely lovely. As fas as hostels go, this was a very pleasant experience."

My only gripe was again the location. Being that the hostel is in the very center, there was a lot of noise outside until the early hours of the morning. Again, not the hostel’s fault, just something to keep in mind.
