"Property had a really nice hang out space and the WiFi worked really well and was very fast for our 2 day stay. Staff helped us arrange a local bus to Chipata."

Rooms very very basic and had a mould issue. But other than that was okay. We didn’t have bed bugs in our room, but we met other backpackers in the dorm beds that said they did have them…

Det jeg betalte her var absolutt bortkastet pengene. Tolerer som en donasjon til universitetet, men det var elendig. Det føltes som 100 år gammelt rom, jeg ble først satt i kjellerrom rett ved hovedveien ute, selv om det var mange ledige rom i over etasjene. Har nærmest ingen fasiliteter. Dagen etter var vann borte, uten at jeg fikk noe varsel.

"Just that the main gate gets locked and you will have to call or knock until you are heard. So don't stay out for long at nights."

There isn't much privacy in the shower area

"Chill hostel that just opened. Is small what makes it nice to meet people. Location is perfect and the host is friendly and open for advise on improvements."

"Warm wellcome, everything was clean, well-kept garden, like your own house."

"Cozy and big. There is a big kitchen were other occupants will use. The shared bathrooms were good. A few minutes drive from Vik."

The location is nearby the Black Beach, so it can get really windy outside.

"Lovely staff, really informative and kind. The hostel Backpackers was clean, comfortable and nice inside and out. Absolutely brilliant location - close to bus stops, Cuba Street, good eateries and has all you could need in the Backpackers. A fully functional kitchen, a lounge where you can chill with your buddies, board games to play, a nice outdoor deck. I also like the fact they had a female only bathroom downstairs. The showers were excellent, too!"

The bedroom I stayed in didn't have a lock that worked on the door, which was a bit concerning. I don't love that.

"Owner was has excellent customer service. Quite understanding and keen to ensure one is comfortable. With previous proprietors who were unreliable, this one is a gem"

"The location is close to main area and attractions. It takes 25 mins to go to the beach or downtown. The environment is peaceful amd this place is very clean. I would recommend."
