Så er det et helt fantastisk miljø som alle på Hostellet er med på å skape, ved den fantastiske møteplassen (kulturell arabisk møteplass)"

If you want a beach holiday it's a little far but if you enjoy the cultural aspects it's a perfect spot. Just a little uphill.

"Eneste jeg likte var at det var universitetets lokaler, og føltes trygt å bo der."

Det jeg betalte her var absolutt bortkastet pengene. Tolerer som en donasjon til universitetet, men det var elendig. Det føltes som 100 år gammelt rom, jeg ble først satt i kjellerrom rett ved hovedveien ute, selv om det var mange ledige rom i over etasjene. Har nærmest ingen fasiliteter. Dagen etter var vann borte, uten at jeg fikk noe varsel.

"Great place to stay in Noukchott. The place itself is beautiful, and in a nice neighbourhood within walking distance to anything you'd want to see. The bungalows are cosy and comfortable. Great hot showers and good buffet breakfast. Contrary to some other uncharitable reviews, I found the young guys working there to be helpful and pleasant. Sebastien the owner gives great travel advice. 10/10, would repeat!"

"This place is simply fabulous - clean, quiet, cozy, everything works, in a great location near night market, mall, fast food etc, easily reachable by bus, yet, some rooms face forest. It's self check-in, all information is provided timely and clearly, communication is brilliant and any questions promptly answered. One of the best place to stay ever."

There is nothing not to like. But, as you need a code to enter your room, its probably not a good idea to rush to the toilet in the middle of the night, and forgetting phone with the code in the room 😊 (didn't happen, but could 🤣). Love it here...

"MyFarm is not just a place to sleep. It is a vibrant place full of life. You wake up from the sound of beautiful birds in the morning, you can join the MyFarm team for breakfast and talk about their daily life here. All the staff is super nice and accommodating. It's amazing to be inside such a wonderful place that gives out free education to the people who live around here. I ended up helping out in the different educational programs and I loved every moment of it. I thought I just went for a cheap place to stay that was also social, but I got so much more. I will definitely come back as a volunteer to the project."
