"The location just off the highway was perfect for me and I was able to book it on the travel day. There was a comfortable family vibe and the staff was extremely friendly. They made me perfect fried eggs for breakfast, served in a beautifully decorated room that had a large selection of bread, jams, cheeses, meat cuts, yoghurt, cereals, fresh juice, different kinds of coffee and tea."

The main entrance was closed at arrival, so I had to find the barn door to get in. There are parking spaces in front of the property, but if you arrive during dinner service, these might be taken by restaurant guests.

"We enjoyed staying at this quirky guest house. We were warmly met by the friendly owner and had plenty of space to hang out for the day we were there, waiting to catch a shuttle to Belize City. I say quirky because in our mini apartment, there was a bed in the kitchen ( as well as our bed in the bedroom), and there is an old US school bus in the garden. But it felt quirky rather than derelict. It's a 5min taxi ride to the bus terminal in town or a 20-minute walk. We chose the Taxi option. It's also close to a good bakery, and you can see the supermarket from the hammocks in the garden. There is a fabulous restaurant called Hambre which is a 20 min walk."

There was nothing we didn't like, but this place will not appeal to everyone. It feels local, and maybe a little dated, but it was spacious, safe, and clean, and everything we needed.

"Staff was great. We were always in touch with the host that is available all the time. The host is very kind and polite and worried to fill all the guests needs. A place that is comfortable and nice."

Nice, comfortable and clean rooms. - and ALWAYS warm water 🤯 My room was on the 4th floor so there was a terrace and I had a good view over the roofs of Kathmandu 😂. I felt at home from the first moment because of the nice owner and the nice staff helping me to find solutions whenever I needed: Taxi, organizing my trips, recommendations for affordable restaurants and so on. The breakfast was perfect, so I started always in good mood! - Thank You so much 🙏🙏"

The shower didn’t work properly, but that can be easily fixed.

"Veldig god, tradisjonell palestinsk frokost, lokalt produsert og servert på ønsket tidspunkt. Godt forklart av hotellets eier. Stor variasjon i råvarer og servert etter lokale tradisjoner. Alle rommene var delikate og med hvert sitt særpreg. Et familiedrevet hotell der hotellets eier knytter familiehistorie til hvert rom og til huset. Da vi ankom var hotellets eier godt orientert og informert og håndhilste på alle og bød på kaffe og te under pistasjtreet som ga god skygge for solen og skapte en lun stemning. Anbefales på det sterkeste. Det må være det desidert beste hotellet i Betlehem."
