"Wonderful apartment. Clean, comfortable, stylish. Large parking. Very friendly host. He even served us a light breakfast, which is rare for an apartment. "The place is not a 5-star guest house, and I was pleasantly surprised by the way I was treated. The staff were lovely, the rooms were clean, and the facilities were better than some of the hotels I have stayed in across Africa. My bed was even a TV bed — I connected my MP3 player and listened to music through the bed speakers… great experience! The location is excellent, with the airport just a stone’s throw away. The staff even went out to buy takeaway food for me when I requested it, which I really appreciated. I do wish they had WiFi, but I understand they may be keeping their costs down. However, I was given a pre-loaded SIM card to make calls to my family, which was a thoughtful gesture."

"The personal attention of the wonderful owner stood out for us. He went out of his way to collect us from the ferry and take us to the airport the next day. He provided us with a fabulous breakfast too - the best we’ve had over our whole trip. We loved meeting him and talking to him."

The only bad experience was that there was no WiFi connection. I was unable to communicate with friends and family back home which made them worried and scared.

"Veldig god, tradisjonell palestinsk frokost, lokalt produsert og servert på ønsket tidspunkt. Godt forklart av hotellets eier. Stor variasjon i råvarer og servert etter lokale tradisjoner. Alle rommene var delikate og med hvert sitt særpreg. Et familiedrevet hotell der hotellets eier knytter familiehistorie til hvert rom og til huset. Da vi ankom var hotellets eier godt orientert og informert og håndhilste på alle og bød på kaffe og te under pistasjtreet som ga god skygge for solen og skapte en lun stemning. Anbefales på det sterkeste. Det må være det desidert beste hotellet i Betlehem."

"Good location by the sea which is not far from the main street of Palau where you can find restaurants and groceries (less than 10 minutes walking). Huge room and comfy beds. The staff is really friendly and he dropped us off at the airport. No complaints"

"Beautiful location and a more friendly owner is hard to find! Shodman ate dinner with us, told us about the area, took us on a fantastic hike and helped organize our trip back to Samarkand. The food was among the better we had in Uzbekistan."

The only thing that was not great was that since we were there in November it was pretty cold at night even inside when eating etc but they had heating fans which worked quite well.

When it was raining a bit water dripping inside from roof. But it’s ok bcs I think that’s drawback from the building design.

I think the aesthetics could be improved. A bit of love into gardening and the outdoor settings for the guests.

The only drawback was the heater kept switching off & I had to get the staff to turn it on a few times
