"We thought we would be on the beach ,but our place was beautiful but not in the area we thought it would be in it was about 10 min drive to where we thought .But the owner was very apologetic and compensated us for not being in the area we had thought we would be"

"Perfect spot right off the Main Street for everything you need - restaurants, coffee shops, supermarkets, diving shop, pier, lagoon beach etc all just minutes walk. Tucked away in beautiful grounds so also very peaceful & quiet. Free bikes were great for moving around the peninsula. Owners very friendly."

"We had a very pleasant and comfortable stay at Placencia Villas. The staff was very friendly and check-in was very efficient. The location of the villas was perfect, as it was within a short walk to the beach as well as to lots of local restaurants and activities. We felt very safe and cocooned in our own little world, while staying at the villas. The rooms were very clean and provided a beach towel too which was great. A lovely welcome book was available which helped to learn about the current activities and restaurants in the area."

"You may have had it, but did not see it, but it would have been useful to have a water tap to wash off the sand so as to not take so much sand into the rooms and shower!"

"Placencia Villas is in a great location - just a few hundred metres from the beach and the pier. There's a really nice communal courtyard with hammocks and deck chairs too. Staff were very helpful and friendly too."

"Everything was amazing! Great Hosts, nice rooms and good area to reach everything by foot. If we had questions we could ask the hosts anytime and they tried to accommodate every wish we had. We are definitely coming back!"

"We had two of the huts for our family and they were perfect for us, and our three adult daughters. The owners are very helpful and there are Padel boards and a kayak you can use for free. You do need to carry them down to the sea but its about a 7 min walk. All the huts have a small kitchen which is great for breakfast. We didn’t try to fix anything else as the facility is small, but having a fridge is great. Our upstairs hut had a nice outdoor terrace and a hammock. The beds were comfortable and nice pillow. There is also air con or a fan to keep you cool. The town is really cute and the beach just beautiful"

"Odasa is a gem. She met us on check-in and helped us to pick up something we forgot after checkout. A lovely person. The cabana room was comfortable and larger than other similar rooms of the same price in Hopkins and Placencia. There was AC and a fan so the room was comfy during the heatwave, and after going to many of these types of accommodations in Belize this may be the only cabana hotel I may book again. Given the average hotel room standard and cost of hotels/stays in Belize, this is very good value for money."
