"Really helpful contact with staff and information provided beforehand. Amazing location and thoughtfully arranged property at a reasonable price. Everything provided that was needed in the property, including a nice shared pool, and near to Blancaneux and Gaia lodges which have good restaurants (not cheap) if you don’t want to self-cater all meals. (Note: Gaia prices are in USD and exclusive of taxes)."
Not so much that we didn’t like, but a note to future guests that the access roads became very slippery after rain. Even with a 4WD vehicle we were sliding sideways at walking pace.

"This is a great lodge in a wildlife conservation area, directly on a lagoon and adjacent to a charming village with a long history. Angie, our host, was welcoming, warm and personable, and flexible in accommodating our plans. We enjoyed canoeing in the lagoon and relaxing in the hammock on our veranda. Breakfasts were wonderful and generous. The location is also a great base for exploring Altun Ha and other attractions nearby."
