"The nuns were all very welcoming and even gave us a tour around their garden. The food was excellent and all home grown. The location was quiet and peaceful."

"The stay at St. Catherine's Monastery was absolutely perfect. They are run by sisters who are very very polite and helpful. Located just outside the main gate of Ngorongoro and is serene place, with farms surrounding it. The gardens inside and outside is quite picturesque. We were doing an evening and morning walk of the surrounding areas, small hillocks, farms and gardens made it quite breathtaking. The rooms are not extravagant but for relaxing it's quite ideal. The food is absolutely delicious as it's sourced straight from their garden and they gave us so much. We were always very very full. Lovely place, absolute value for money, will visit again."
"If I have to be really nit-picky. I guess, the rooms could be upgraded to something more modern. That being said, it's not really a deal breaker as this is a stay in a church and monastery and adds to that experience and with the prices, it's an absolute bang for buck."

"The welcome was wonderful. Sr. Noella and all the sisters greeted us with warm smiles, and they were kind and courteous hosts. Johnson at reception was very accommodating with our request to chill our camping food. The entire area was tranquil, and literally a stones throw from the Ngorongoro gate."

"El personal fue maravilloso! Las Hermanas muy cálidas, atentas, muy preocupadas porque no te falte nada. Todo estaba impecable! El lugar es maravilloso! Los jardines eran preciosos! "Veramente favoloso! La posizione è perfetta per raggiungere il nyerere National park. Il proprietario è gentilissimo e molto disponibile, ha organizzato per noi la visita al parco. Anche lo staff è preparato e gentilissimo. Lavorano al campo anche dei Masai che ti accompagnao la sera in camera e ti aiutano con le valige. La struttura affaccia direttamente sul fiume in una posizione sicura e rialzata e da qui si può organizzare un safari in barca della durata di circa due ore in cui si possono vedere coccodrilli, vari tipi di uccelli e ippopotami. La vista dalla camera è dalla zona comune è spettacolare. La camera è pulita e spaziosa e con una vista meravigliosa. Ulteriore nota positiva è il cibo, cucinato internamente sul fuoco e veramente buonissimo. Ogni dettaglio del campo, dagli alloggi alla cucina, è curato e garantisce un'esperienza immersiva. Riassumendo....meraviglioso e fortemente consigliato."
