Slottsskogens Hostel is the only hostel with 24/7 manning and free access to gym, sauna and social events. The hostel is located in the Linnéstaden district of central Gothenburg close to the vibrant nightlife of “Andra långgatan”. The shared rooms offer beds that can be closed off with curtains. By the bed there are power outlets and hangers. Each dorm room has lockable storage for your belongings. All private rooms are equipped with a smart TV, chairs and table. The bathrooms are close by in the corridor. There are two fully equipped guest kitchens where you can prepare your own meals. In the morning you can choose to book a rich breakfast buffet with a lot of organic options. Free fast WiFi is offered throughout the buildings. The common rooms offer you entertainment as a full-size pool table and a football game. There are events coming up every week, including bar hopping, quiz nights and walking tours. Every day there are some free hours to use the skjønnhetspleie room with a cozy sauna and some showers. The gym is open every day between 8 AM and 10 PM.

"Feil kommunikasjon mellom ansatte? Ved innsjekk ble det informert om at vi ikke skulle rengjøre rommet. Dette hadde nok også andre fått beskjed om da rommet var svært skittent - dvs ikke rengjort. Ved utsjekk var det en annen person som informere om at vi skulle rengjøre rommet. Dette var s ikke aktuelt da rommet var skittent ved innsjekk. Parkering: Den første tilbudte parkeringsplassen var helt inntil veggen og stolpe foran og bak ved høyre side. Vi hadde ingen mulighet for å parkere her med vår bil. Kun små biler vil få plass het. Vi fikk ny plass etter en prat med resepsjonen."

"We stayed 4 nights at Slottsskogen Hostel and honestly, it was perfect in every way. The twin room was very comfortable and nicely furnished, making it easy to relax after a day of exploring. The kitchen was well-equipped, allowing us to prepare our meals without any hassle. The bathrooms were exceptionally clean and the fact that there were so many of them I mean we never had to wait, which was a big plus. The location of the hostel is excellent and close to key attractions and public transport, making it easy to get around the city. Slottsskogen Hostel has truly become our favourite place to stay whenever we visit."
"Being a vegetarian, there were no suitable breakfast options for us. This was truly my oversight, as I had requested and paid extra for breakfast during our stay, but it would have been helpful if vegetarian options were provided."

"Die Lage des Hauses ist besonders vorteilhaft: nah an Ystad (10 Min. ins Zentrum) und an der Küste (4 Min.), dabei kaum Bebauung in der Nachbarschaft, extrem ruhige Umgebung und trotz Durchgangsstraße kaum merklicher Verkehr. Das Haus selbst ist sehr geräumig und bietet einer Familie mit Kindern genügend Raum. Besonders schön ist die abgeschirmte Südterrasse mit einem weiträumigen Blick über Felder und Wald mit Hasen und Rehen. TV mit nationalen Kanälen und BBC News war ausreichend, um im Urlaub etwas informiert zu bleiben, außerdem lief das Internet stabil."
