From the breathtaking location to the excellent hospitality and top-notch facilities, there was nothing I could fault. The location of the hotel is simply stunning. It is situated on an island in the middle of a picturesque lake, offering beautiful views of the surrounding nature. The tranquil setting was perfect for escaping the hustle and bustle of everyday life and unwinding. I enjoyed taking walks along the lakeside and soaking in the peaceful atmosphere. The staff at Hotel Skytteholm deserve special praise. They were extremely friendly, helpful, and attentive. Every one of my requests was promptly met, and they went out of their way to ensure my stay was enjoyable, making the experience even more pleasant."

"The staff where amazing and super friendly! They really made our trip! The sauna has an amazing view of the lake- and in general the spa facilities are all well kept and kept to a high standard! there are some really well signposted dog walks around and the area is stunning! The breakfast was top notch and so was the food in the restaurant for dinner was great."

"Wish the room was a bit bigger (we had a twin room with a dog it was a bit tight. - we could have obviously paid more but there is an abundance of room In the hotel. Lots of bird poop all around the outside beach area made it quite unappealing to swim In the lake. Wished the menu in the restaurant was a bit bigger or rotated more we ended up having to leave the hotel to get food as the had the set menu two days in a row and I didn’t want to eat the same food everyday."

"The location is beautiful, right next to a lake and close to nature. Only one hour walk to Rosenhill through the forest."

"The hotel have built a pool right next to the building, but as a hotel guest you’re not allowed to use it unless you pay 600:- (300:- per person). Quite a cheap move for a hotel considering people pay to stay there. Never been to a hotel where you have to pay extra to use the hotel pool 😳"
