"We have been in a lot of different hotels in Porto due to late-night flights and this place is quite special. It is sort of like a 1970s time-capsule. A cross of Pulp-Fiction aesthetic and aroma, with a portuguese version of Lost in Translation. You can lie in bed and fall asleep to beautiful views of the whole city. The top-floor breakfast bar is retro futurist. Some of the installations are vintage (or maybe a bit old), but the place itself is fantastic. We will definitely come back if we find a room & breakfast for a similar price here!"

"Simply amazing hotel built in 1969, a tower clad in Portuguese tiles on a hill above the city. The views are breath-taking. Every feature inside is authentic original modernist in warm materials and colours. This is like stepping into a time-machine! Breakfast is on the highest floor. The staff are simply wonderful."
