"The villa was lovely, very clean and spacious. The host met us with the keys as we arrived late and took us through the villa explaining where everything was. The swimming pool was fantastic, and the children loved spending all day swimming. The hosts checked in a few times to make sure we were happy and everything was ok."
"Slightly disappointed the Jacuzzi wasn't working and although we thought it was a private pool, it was in fact shared by 3 other villa's. Had requested a cot but this didn't arrive until the following morning. also, although not that important the fridge was directly behind the kitchen door so you had to be careful entering the kitchen if someone had opened the fridge! Was a bit noisy due to the main road being very close."

"Viktor met the family at the villa. He returned the next morning to collect the balance and discuss any issues. We had an issue with WiFi in 2c which Viktor sorted immediately. Tracy popped along later with more sun loungers as some had seen better days. The jacuzzi repairman came a couple of times but needed a part to get it going… still not fixed when we left but it wasn’t really a problem. We found it extremely useful to have been able to stay in the villa until the time to leave for the airport. I realise this isn’t always a possibility."

"Very nice place. Very quiet, in the middle of horses. It was so nice to sit on the veranda and soak in the atmosphere. The veranda is also very nicely sheltered from the wind."

"Cosy room.in a traditional old farm building. The table by the swimming pool had a fabulous vista down the valley to Vizela and beyond; perfect for watching the sunset directly ahead whilst bats fly around and sipping the delicious wine made by the family. We regret not bringing some home! The owner went the extra mile for us, for example taking our laundry and ironing even in the middle of a heatwave"
