"This is a rare gem (actually, so convenient that I first hesitated to book: never imagined it’s possible to spend a night in a huge, comfy fully equipped bungalow in Tahiti, within walking distance to THE best public beach, for less than 100 Euros/night for two persons). The bungalow actually accommodates 4. We were welcomed to check in in the early morning, as we arrived at 5AM, and the owners did everything to help us (they let us use their washing machine, as ours had a bug…). There is a carport to park your vehicle (rather a must). Wi-Fi worked perfectly! Two restaurants within walking distance, one of which (the Hotu Mahana ) is on the beach (we found no other like it outside resorts). Thanks a lot, Moeata!"

"Masser af plads, mange køkkenfaciliteter. Rent og pænt hjem. Dejlig have med overdækket terrasse. Ikke langt til stranden. Ingen irriterende insekter."

"Vi havde ikke brug for aircondition, der var dejlig frisk luft om natten. Men hvis man får brug for den støjer den lidt."

"Cette maison est exceptionnelle et très agréable les pièces sont très grandes il y a deux chambres mais aussi deux salles d'eau c'est très appréciable, une terrasse immense et un grand jardin très bien entretenu. Proche de la belle plage de vaiava."

"Logement très propre et très bien entretenu. Nous avons aimé les espaces et les beaux volumes des chambres avec les tres grands placards de rangements.Les terrasses sont tres confortables et Moehata accueillante. Nous reviendrons certainement."

"We spent a fabulous 4 nights here recently. It really was a little oasis in Tahiti and the owners Michel & Veronique were the perfect hosts. Michel kindly called a restaurant to check it was open and made a few calls to to help us get a hire car sorted. We really appreciated the help. The property is located close to a bakery, supermarket & restaurants for supplies. The room has a fridge, kettle, microwave, hot plate, coffee maker for use during your stay. Large walk in shower, reliable internet and a pool to cool down in. We had everything we needed for our stay. The beach is a short walk away from the property, as is the Museum of Tahiti."

"The place is super nice, across the street from a beautiful beach and a short distance drive from restaurants and a supermarket. It is very nice and quiet and the host is really amazing and super friendly. He gave us kayaks to go into the lagoon one of the afternoons we were there and it was wonderful. The place is big and comfortable and the kitchen is equiped with everything needed."

"Heiata has made a most comfortable and cosy place to stay in Tahiti. And she is a most welcoming and thoughtful host. There is a very comfortable lounge with a terrace with lovely mountain views. There is auseful kitchen with oven and stove. The bed is comfortable and the bedroom is air-conditioned which is appreciated with the heat and humidity. The bathroom is spacious. Everything is pristinely clean. And there's even the convenience of a washing machine just outside the apartment, and a clothes line on the terrace. It's so nice to have the comforts and conveniences of a small apartment, rather than be crammed in a bland and pokey hotel room. For someone who doesn't mind walking, it's located in a nice quiet neighbourhood, and in about 15 minutes you're at the waterfront. The apartment is located on a steep hill so be prepared to walk back up or take a taxi..."

"The apartment and shared kitchen had everything we needed. The air conditioner, fan, and plumbing worked well and there were lots of windows to enjoy the outside. Loved the balcony and the shared kitchen which both opened to the beach. Good water pressure & plenty of hot water for showers and dishes. There was good cross ventilation in the apartment. The grounds were beautiful. The host and staff were responsive and kind. There was one working kayak. The host and staff speak english."
