"You get the entire cottage all to yourself! There were two of us and we had a bedroom each. It's in an idyllic, peaceful location with a beautiful backyard. It was so nice sitting on the back porch with a cup of coffee in the morning. Very rural vibe, lots of wild birds and chickens from next door, but with all the modern amenities. The house is equipped with everything you can think of (including some extras like good quality coffee, cooking oils etc). The owner is really friendly and welcoming, and spoke perfect English. He contacted us before the arrival and met us at the bus stop. He also told us which bus stop to get off, which was very helpful. The buses to town (as well as to David) are very close and frequent. There is a supermarket nearby for all your grocery needs."

"Great breakfast, very welcoming reception, a nice little beach and restaurant nearby, clean bathrooms, good air conditioning, and a great outdoor area to relax. It’s also close to Bluff Beach (about 7 km away), which you can reach by bike or by taxi for around $15 each way. It’s one of the best spots to enjoy wildlife and relax."

"very cool place, very clean. bed is very comfortable, better than majority of the hostals. real cotton bed lines. locker beside your bed. also many shelves for your personal stuffs. there are many lines in second floor deck for hanging clothes. Fantastic terraza! watching sunsetting there, do my morning Yoga, Having diner up there, Nice people. Kitchen is my Home Kitchen size, got everything I need to prepare my dishes everyday. free pancake is great, people share laughter during pancakes time. Alex is great guy, calm kind and very helpful. booked 2 nights, once I checked in, immediately extended to 5 nights, I am now considering to extend couple of more days. definitely recommend it."

"The property was excellently located just a short water taxi from Bocas Town and close to a supermarket. The apartment was clean and very good quality. The common area was great to chill during the day as well! It was overall a brilliant stay and would 100% recommend."

"The accommodation is lovely and the garden is beautiful and tranquil. The trek downstairs to the bathroom at night is a bit cumbersome. We slept with open doors and windows - it was cool and quiet. The location is beautiful, it’s just a bit further from El Valle de Anton than is convenient. However, Rai, the amazing host, made every effort to make our stay wonderful - and he did. So, will I recommend Villa Hermosa? Definitely."

"Amazing gem in the middle of the jungle. Lodges are embedded in nature. One morning the howler monkeys were all over the place. We went for a kayak trip amidst the mangroves. Perfect combination for water and nature lovers. The food is top quality. Cari and Ryan support some nature preserving projects. Cari is the Dian Fossey for the Azuero Mantle-Backed howler monkeys, an endemic species that is almost extinct. We also participated in a baby sea turtle release. As we are bird lovers we were thrilled to see 7 toucans in the nearby environment in one of the few panama trees that are left at the pathway to get to the lodge."

"We really appreciate the owners Ron & Michelle they make you feel like your family. This is our second time here and it won't be our last. This is our go to spot when we do or yearly trip to the Puerto Armuelles area. Just a great spot. It's a little difficult to find and dont worry about the neighborhood as the people are really friendly."
