"Jenny gives you true New Zealand hospitality. She looks after you so well, is friendly, caring and very knowledgeable about the locality and New Zealand. The room was comfy and clean. It was a great place to stay and we enjoyed our daily chats. A good location just outside New Plymouth with shops, eateries, a beach and you can start or finish the coastal track here."

Hat sich um unsere Wäsche gekümmert, hat uns Tipps für Sehenswürdigkeiten und Ausflüge in der Umgebung gegeben und das Frühstück war ebenfalls fantastisch. "If you are looking for an exceptional place to stay on the Coromandel peninsula, this is it. The Lodge is quite large with everything you could need: kitchenette, couch and TV, comfy bed, large bathroom (tub + huge shower), terrace and the a spectacular view of Whitianga! As you would expect, it was very quiet, and the layout is such that, that you can enjoy total privacy. Carol and Warren were very welcoming and we had a nice chat every morning with Warren as he brought us a lovely breakfast. The road up the lodge is fairly steep but it wasn't an issue at all, so if you have a decent car I wouldn't worry about it. While in our particular case, we didn't have the best weather throughout the stay, we appreciated that the lodge is furnished so as to feel like home, which made for a cozy day in. I could tell that there was a lot of thought put into the furnishing and decorating of the lodge!"

"Absolutely loved the views. Rooms were cosy and kitchen was well stocked with all that was needed. Shower area was a little pokey, but bathroom clean with new washing machine and dryer service. Sadly, didn't get time to use the hot tub."
