"Great place to break up the journey going north. We especially liked the view from the veranda on to the lovely duck pond and the quite rural setting, but still so close to the main road. Bourail and restaurants are only about 10+minutes away by car."

"Quiet bungalow, simple but very nice and comfortable. Small kitchen with basic cookery, very handy for self catering. Nice deck overlooking greenery with lots of small birds. We didn’t get to meet the host, but communication and instructions to find the bungalow were very helpful - it is not within Bourail, but still convenient location to explore La Roche Percée etc. We were particularly grateful for the gifts of custard apples and lemons. Great stay overall."

"The bungalow is close to the main road and yet well immersed in the peaceful countryside, Spacious, very well equipped, perfect kitchen and nice, firm, comfy bed. Friendly and helpful owner, always on call."

"The access is by a short dirt road which gets in poor conditions when it rains. The bungalow is difficult to lock from the outside and almost impossible from the inside, and because of that the sliding wooden panel door can make noise in case of wind."

"Eigentlich müsste ich 100 Punkte vergeben. Die Hilfsbereitschaft der Gastgeber war herausragend. Ich hatte mein Spezialkissen, das ich wegen meiner Rückenprobleme seit 10 Wochen auf meiner Reise mitschleppe, im Bungalow vergessen und das nach zweistündiger Fahrt zurück in die Hauptstadt und Rückgabe des Mietautos. Ehrlich, ich war verzweifelt, weil ohne Kissen … Ich habe die Vermieterin wegen der Bezahlung kontaktiert und ihr von meinem Missgeschick erzählt. Sie meinte, sie würde mir das Kissen am nächsten Tag in meine Unterkunft in die Hauptstadt bringen, was dann auch so geschehen ist. Mir ist so etwas Nettes auf Reisen noch nie passiert. Mehr muss ich nicht sagen."

"Nous sommes arrivés de nuit depuis Nouméa, mais avec les indications transmises par les propriétaires, l’emplacement ne fut pas difficile à trouver. Nous avons beaucoup aimé le calme et l’environnement bucolique dans lequel est situé le bungalow. L’hébergement comprend un cuisine très bien équipée avec grille-pain, micro-ondes, plaques, ainsi qu’une grande terrasse. Nous recommandons cet hébergement."
