Location is great, island offers enough to do for couple of days and restaurant choices, amazing reef, beach and possibility to go for trip to snorkel with mantas. Breakfast was nice too! We enjoyed the time!"

"Beach Veli is a small guesthouse with a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. The location is excellent – just across a small sandy island path and you are already at the beautiful bikini beach. Snorkeling directly from the beach was a highlight for us, as we almost always saw turtles in the water. The rooms are simple and a bit dated, but they were clean and well maintained. Breakfast was good and sufficient, with three options to choose from: continental, Maldivian, or pancakes – we tried all of them and enjoyed each one. The staff was very kind, friendly, and genuinely well-intentioned, and they always tried their best to help."

"The rooms are quite basic and would benefit from some updates. The staff may not offer a polished hotel-style service, but they were always friendly, helpful, and genuinely tried their best. Whenever we asked for something, they were happy to assist and made sure our needs were taken care of."

"The staff were exceptionally warm and kind. They welcomed us at the harbor upon arrival and also accompanied us back when we left. When I fell ill with a stomach bug, they immediately offered help and support. An umbrella and snorkeling equipment were always available when needed. If you choose to stay in a guesthouse, it’s important to understand that it is not the same as a five-star hotel — and it doesn’t need to be. What I truly appreciated was the sense of peace and simplicity. I noticed that when you approach people with openness and without closing yourself off, kindness and willingness to help naturally appear around you. That was very much my experience here."

"The guesthouse is a bit worn out, but we did not care because the staff ( Karissa and Krishna) were super kind and helpfull all the time. We can say that the beach is easy to reach and just in front of the hotel. We enjoyed snorkling in the sea and saw colorfull fish and a turtle as well as little sharks. Near the hotel there were many shops and restaurants. We were able to have relaxing time because the island was silent and we had the impression that it was a safe enviroment."

"We found Beach Veli to be the best option for us in Ukulhas. The room was really spacious and perfectly clean fitted with aircon as well as ventilator. We got beach towels and could use snorkels & fins every day free of charge. Perfect location steps away from the bikini beach… there was nothing not to like. I want to point out the excellent service separately, as the team at the Beach Veli wasn’t shy to fulfill special wishes (laundry, late checkout…) with a big smile. Due to food poisoning I was in the hospital for one day and the owner Thol himself stopped by, brought me a fresh coconut and had the restaurant cooking a special recovery soup. Excellent stay!! We’re very thankful and can wholeheartedly recommend."

"Few steps from the beach. Best spot on the beach, very cozy and calm. Sea with waves and very close to a nice snorcheling reef you can spot many colorful fish and sharks there. I really like the location (compared to the other side of the island). Very nice and helpful staff."
