"Omgivelsene var veldig fine og det var en avslappet stemning på hotellet. Veldig fin beliggenhet midt i oasen. Verten var også vennlig, hjalp oss alltid hvis vi trengte noe, spilte på trommer med oss og viste oss omgivelsene. Vi ankom også nærmere midnatt, men fikk allikevel god hjemmelaget tajine da vi kom og kvelden etter også etter et ørken besøk."

"Vi hadde planlagt å ta en dagstur til ørkenen, og å bruke Ouled Otmane som utgangspunkt. Etter anbefaling fra verten dro vi til Erg Lihoudi for å ri på dromedarer med fetteren hans. Det viste seg å være en veldig liten ørken, som vi kunne gå rundt på bare 20 minutter og ikke en stor ørken med store sanddyner som verten forsikret oss om. Dette var svært skuffende, i og med at dette var hovedgrunnen til at vi dro over Atlasfjellene i utgangspunktet, og det var noe jeg hadde sett frem til å vise til vennene mine."

There is a nearer airport"

"Conversations with the host about a wide range of topics, from sustainable goods, eco- lifestyles in near the desert, to tourism options. The large compound is a pleasant garden. The host helped me setting up a bed on the roof to beat the heat ("and sleep like a Moroccan"), think stars over date palm fronds. The host booked a desert experience including 4x4 trip into the sandy desert at M'Hamid for me, was very convenient."
