"This experience was amazing being in nature while having a luxurious living space is a rare combination moreover we got to enjoy this wonderfull experience without any bugs this is one off the many positive sides of this compound I really recommend it especially for large groups and kids as the environment is kids friendly with emotional support animals like golden retrievers"

"Great location and the scenery was beautiful. Very nice and peaceful atmosphere. Located on hill tops and the views were amazing! Perfect if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway surrounded by nature. Surrounded by trees and was entertained by monkeys swinging through the branches. The rooms were also very spacious and allowed a comfortable stay. The staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient and meals were delivered to the room. Staff were very accommodating and overall had a very pleasant and enjoyable stay."

"Overnattingsstedet lå veldig fint til langs elven og eiendommen som helhet virket planlagt med omhu. Vi ble oppgradert uten ekstra kostnad da vi ankom og fikk oppleve en helt utrolig vakker hytte med utsikt mot skog og fantastisk gjennomført og behagelig interiør. Vi trivdes kjempegodt der og skulle gjerne blitt lenger!"

Der var ikke kaffetrakter, men det var pulverkaffe og vannkoker (og alle andre fasiliteter), så det gikk egentlig helt strålende!

"Beautiful place next to a river and the mangrove bushes. The lady at the service desk speaks very good English. That’s was very helpful. The excursion to the monkeys was very fun and the boat tour was beautiful!"

We had our meal out on the verandah next to the kitchen and watched the sunset. Sabina is a wonderful hostess. When we arrived she tried to book as into a restaurant but it was full so she took us to the local supermarket to ensure we would have a good meal. Keith was also really helpful and a great guy. We wished we had booked it for longer."

The staff was incredibly friendly and professional, ensuring a warm welcome and attentive service throughout. The lodge itself was impeccably clean, and the pool area provided a perfect spot for relaxation. Additionally, the breakfast served at Top Lodge was simply delicious, and filling. Overall, I highly recommend Top Lodge for its friendly staff, cleanliness, delicious breakfast, reliable Wi-Fi, and inviting pool area."

"Located exactly on the mountain, with exceptional views. Facilities were clean, comfortable and well heated. Staff were very helpful to transfer us to the hotel when we arrived, as the car park was a bit far from the hotel. They also treated us exceptionally well, and were always ready to accommodate us with our needs. Food and drinks were also really good. All in all 10/10 stay"

"Beautiful surroundings, so calm. The host is incredibly helpful and kind. This refuge is his personal project, and you can see his passion. The surrounding villages are small but lovely to walk through. There are nice hikes possible, including to the peak of Mount Agou, the people on the paths will kindly guide you to your destination. They are truly kind."

The location on the map is slightly off, ask for a pin before you arrive to make sure you find the right place!

Modi Lodge is quite hidden and set in a remote area. It offers a peaceful and secluded atmosphere, which can be great if you’re looking to unwind, but it also means that getting around is difficult without your own transportation. Public transport and taxis are limited in that part of Curaçao, so without a car you won’t be able to easily reach beaches, restaurants, shops, or other attractions on the island.

It is 30 minutes on a very bumpy road from the gate to the national park and we were the only people to pass through each day. This end of the park is forest and scrub so very difficult to see game. There are not many roads in the park and almost no signage.
