"Beautiful location, and clean comfortabel room with hot water, felt very exclusive with only two chalets, private dining table by the lake and incredibly attentive staff who couldn’t have done more for us, even washed our tuk-tuk! Good food and free coffee! Fridge in the room to keep my beer cold! Excellent value for money, I would highly recommend."
"Would have liked tea/coffee in the room (there was a kettle and water). Bathroom could have been in a better state of repair but there was hot water and it was perfectly adequate. Neither small issue would stop me staying here again."

"This boutique guest house is fantastic, located in front of the Samabe lake. This is such a peaceful, relaxing and quiet environment. A real paradise for all nature lovers - located just a few minutes away from Dambulla center. For now, there are only 2 cottages in the property. So basically the stay is very private (no noise around). The cottage size is very good with a terrace from where you can enjoy the view of the lake. The personnel is very friendly - and insisted to invite me for a lovely boat tour on the lake for free. Surprisingly there was no mosquito in the cottage whereas we could think that there might be due to the proximity of the lake. The WiFi was working very fine. All was perfect. From this place, i did visit Dambulla (e.g Golden temple) and its surroundings- up to Habarana for a half a day safari (mainly elephants spotted) in the national park of Minneriya/Eco lodge. Spent 2 wonderful nights …and wish I would have more time to stay more !"

In this case, the place exceeded all my expectations. comfortable houses next to the lake. Cool canoe boat for independent sailing. The room has everything you need for relaxation. There is hot water and there was even a TV."

"This is a unique place. With a beautiful natural area. There is a lake on the territory. natural habitat of many birds. You can sail on the lake by boat or catamaran. in the middle of the lake there is a beautiful island where you can hold a romantic ceremony. We booked 2 houses. We were greeted and accommodated very well. The price also includes the opportunity to choose one of the traditional Sri Lankan breakfasts. We love Sri Lankan cuisine and always enjoy trying it in different places. The hotel's location is close to main roads, which also allows you to travel into the city and explore local establishments. This place is truly worthwhile, it can calm the mind and give inner happiness."

"Vertene var helt fantastiske – utrolig blide, hjelpsomme og oppriktig snille mennesker som virkelig gjorde oppholdet vårt ekstra hyggelig. Vi følte oss veldig godt tatt imot fra første stund. "Everything was honestly so nice here! The owners are the nicest people, and you can eat really amazing food that she makes all by herself. (It’s also very affordable and so convenient because you can just order it right to your door.) We had actual air conditioning, which can be hard to find in Sri Lanka as backpackers. You’re also just a 10-minute walk from the beach and places like Dots, where you can go out and party. If you go to the other side, you’re about a 5-minute walk from many local restaurants, which were all very nice as well. Honestly, the nicest people and such a cute place to stay! I would definitely recommend it and would book this again myself when we come back!"

"Beautiful location lovely garden with lots of nature,there were even elephants in the area,got to see one last night just walking passed the gate at the front of the hotel.Aircon works well, only thing missing in my room was a kettle and cups and bottled water.I asked for a kettle and water which was promptly provided.The food was absolutely amazing and very reasonably priced.Highly recommend staying here and eating here."
