Sabay Beach

"Beliggenheten, de kule bungalowene og folka som jobber der! Maten i restaurenten var veldig god, tilberedt av folk som helt klart liker god mat! Frokostmenyen var også god, med nydelig egg/bacon wrap, Healthy Hippie frokostblanding og fransk frokost + autentisk Khmer-frokost. Valg mellom ulike typer kaffer – både varme og kalde. Å spise frokost med utsikt over elven gjorde opplevelsen enda bedre. Gratis kanoer ga oss mulighet til å padle oppover i elva, som forøvrig er nydelig å bade i. Hotellet ligger et stykke utenfor Kampot by, men det er null stress å leie både mopeder og ta tuk-tuk."

"The restaurant was excellent. The access to kayaks was good. It was very quiet with lots of places to relax and the views of the river and mountains were beautiful."

"The trade-off for solitude is that you are quite far away from the city of Kampot. This means a little extra time is needed to book transportation or to request Grab food for delivery. Not a lot of grocery options nearby so, again, you have to plan ahead if you want extra food and drink."

"Great atmosphere Largely attentive staff Great food and drink options It was wonderful to relax by the beach. It's rare to find a single room that can comfortably fit 3 people so we were very grateful."

"Whilst not the fault of the resort those seeking to book should be aware of mosquitos. Not hundreds but there are a few. This can't really be avoided in these types of tropical areas. Lots of very steep stairs and unless I missed it I could not see a lift. If those seeking to book are of limited mobility I would keep this in mind."

"The tree houses are beautiful, quaint and well cared for. The residence is very pretty and the staff is beyond nice. Having breakfast overlooking the river is beautiful."

"Since it is so far out of town, laundry service should be available at the hotel. Also, there is a lot of plastic in the river. This is not sabay’s responsability of course but all hotel owners should work together in dealing with this problem."

"Friendly staff always helpful. My son enjoyed a lot at playground and little space around reception. Food was amazing also we relaxed at sunset time at the restaurant. It was amazing time. I would like to go back again and next time we love to stay at treehouse."

"The shower room did not drain properly, so water always accumulated and it was difficult to shower smoothly. The shower was positioned high, which was inconvenient for me."
