B&B La Porta Vecchia

"B&B La Porta Vecchia ligger fint til i gamlebyen, så det er lett å komme seg overalt. Rommet var rent og pent. Frokosten ble servert på taket som hadde flott utsikt. Personalet var veldig søte og hyggelige. Vi hadde med oss bil, og fikk god hjelp til å finne parkering. Vi bor gjerne der igjen."

"Nice room in an old building inside the old town, close to everything and very clean. We arrived earlier, and luckily our room is ready early. The host also makes great hand-made breakfast which is delicious."

"Located in the center of the old town of Monopoli, everything is reachable on foot. Neat and clean, a spacious room, and a nice shower. We found parking a few minutes’ walk outside the old town area, following the owner’s suggestion — free at this time of year. I’m not sure what it’s like during the high season."

"Lovely and clean b&b in the tranquil streets of the old town of Monopoli. Easy to get around by foot. Even the beaches are nearby & a nice walk. I was happy I could check-in relatively early and I could leave my luggage for a while after check-out. Very kind!"

"I didn't know about the breakfast/kitchen/terrace/coffee/tea area upstairs. I found out right before check-out, which was just on time, but I think it's a big pro to be told at check-in, because it's a very relaxed area. Especially when you have a single room a without a chair/couch."

"The landlady popped into the room in the afternoon without knocking. The rooms can be reached with high stairs. The breakfast room is even higher. Hard to climb up. We would gladly have something salty fir breakfast as well: ham, cheese, eggs."

"Cosima, the owner, made it into a wonderful experience. She is friendly and serves a breakfast with homemade local pastries every day. The facilities are clean. The air conditioning worked well. There is a lovely rooftop terrace. Be prepared for steep steps to the breakfast room and terraces."
