"the house gets cleaned every afternoon when the guests are out exploring. It’s a wonderful place in a wonderful location. When lots of people are staying at the same time it gets very busy in the kitchen and you may need to wait until you can prepare dinner after a long day of and about. Tip: prepare your dinner in the morning before you head out so you only have to warm it up later"

"Brún was Amazing, as soon as we saw it we booked it 6 months in advance, turned out to be everything we hoped for & more. Heiðrún and Róbert made everything so easy from the start Inc key collection & even sent us Regular weather & road status info as the weather was snowy. Location over looking the river from the living area & hot tub were stunning. Decor/furnishings & style of the place very well presented along with very clean & organised. It was a perfect location for touring the golden circle & was dark enough for some great Aurora sightings.kids enjoyed the hot tub, basket ball & the small play area under the stairs. 4 bedrooms very comfortable & under floor heating topped it off. Would definitely return without a doubt as we failed to finish off the adventure. This time perhaps in the summer!"

It's very close to the 'official' Blue lagoon and we spent a day at the spa at 'The Retreat', which I would highly recommend. They woke us up to see the Northern Lights which was also a nice touch. We had a fabulous relaxed breakfast & enjoyed the late night soak in Silica's Blue Lagoon."
