"Beautiful views. Ample room for 6 to enjoy socialising and to eat together. Great facilities to cook a meal. Comfortable beds. Washing machine if needed. Crocs left to use to avoid dirty walking boots in the cabin. Opportunity to watch the northern lights as no light pollution."

"The place has fabulous views for those who want chase aurora this is the place. Super spacious house with tons kitchen facilities , huge kitchen, super clean, host super responsive and friendly, great family host. If I come back iceland I would definitely book here for more nights. Definitely recommend stay more than a night here."

"Rental is a full house lost in the Icelandic countryside, surrounded by horses. Beautiful view of Vestmannaeyjar from the house. Very quiet and practical with three bedrooms, a bathroom and a big living room and kitchen. I recommend it :)"

"This was my fourth stay at the Hekla Cabins. They are so cosy and in the perfect place for capturing the Aurora at night and travelling around the Golden Circle as well as the South Coast. The cabin is clean, well equipped, comfortable beds and a lovely hot shower. We are always sad to leave these beautiful cottages, I highly recommend staying here."

"It is very spacious, quiet. As we did not have the good weather at the visit, we did not get the view which could be very great. From the very beginning the house/room does not look so straightforward to stay. But once I get used to the layout, I think it's okay. Eventually I like to stay in the kitchen room, only. The living room has a lot of decorations which keeps us with distance though."

"I always stay at Tehúsid when I pass through Egilsstadir. Their facilities are always clean, comfortable and safe. The staff are welcoming, helpful and friendly. I haven't had a chance to eat at the restaurant, yet, because I'm always traveling but the desserts I've seen on display are mouth-watering. Tehúsid is very conveniently located--near a couple of major grocery stores--and is at the regional bus stop. It's the perfect place for a travel overnight. Comfortable, cozy, clean, and safe."

"Gorgeous dome, well equipped. Easy to get to from the centre of Reykjavik by public bus. Easy self check in and information pack. The dome was spotless and nice and warm with the heaters when we arrived. We used the log burner and there was a good supply of wood and fire starters. The bathroom was clean and we weren’t bothered about it not being in the dome. We didn’t use the showers as we only stayed one night. The kitchen facilities were great and we heated up some food we brought with us. The hot tub was amazing and the mini bottle of fizz and the drinks were a great bonus. We drank it whilst watching the northern lights from the hot tub."

"Very warm welcome from lovely host, Elsa, to her wonderful home. The room I stayed in was cosy, confortable and welcoming. I also very much enjoyed the surprise breakfast of freshly home-baked bread and fresh coffee in the morning! My favourite place to stay on my road trip around Iceland - I just wish I could have stayed longer! (Next time I will!)"
