Vandrerhjem i Sør-Korea

"Eneste jeg likte var at det var universitetets lokaler, og føltes trygt å bo der."

Det jeg betalte her var absolutt bortkastet pengene. Tolerer som en donasjon til universitetet, men det var elendig. Det føltes som 100 år gammelt rom, jeg ble først satt i kjellerrom rett ved hovedveien ute, selv om det var mange ledige rom i over etasjene. Har nærmest ingen fasiliteter. Dagen etter var vann borte, uten at jeg fikk noe varsel.

Dorms are by the main road and very noisy with traffic so hard to sleep. Creaky floorboards also.

"Great helpful staff, freshly cleaned room. I arrived earlier than planned and they quickly swept and mopped the room and made up my bed while I waited. Super central location. Showers were hot. Got given a roll of toilet paper on check in which seems like a great solution to previous negative reviews saying toilet paper ran out and wasn't topped up. Great value for money"

There was no common area to hang out in like a lounge or courtyard or kitchen, but even still I made new friends just in my dorm room, in the corridor and in the bathroom while brushing my teeth. Probably not ideal for light sleepers as there is a karaoke bar nearby but I really enjoyed being able to hear all the singing!

"Location, price, staff. The location is perfect - it is city center and moreover, located in old city of Baku. Easy access to the museums and downtown. Staff is helpful, can advice in any matter. Metro station is very close."

My room was very cold. Even though the landlady turned on the heater earlier than she said she would, it still didn't help much.

"We had a wonderful stay. It's a good way to get to know the Uzbek culture, far away from the touristy areas. It's run by a family. Nigina and her girls cooked amazing fresh food every day. Best food we had in whole Uzbekistan especially the Plov, even the guides who stayed there it's one of the best they ever had. Raxmat is an amazing host he helped us with thing from the beginning till the end, with transportation or also with hike tours. The place is good for every type of travellers, there were also some families, solo female travelers etc. For us, we stayed 3 nights, it was nice to disconnect (they have wifi) but we never used it. There is plenty of things to do like hiking etc. We will miss this wonderful place. Thank you again Raxmat and Nigina!"

"The views from the house is amazing! The beaches nearby are empty and beautiful, and you got a bit of a local vibe. Food was really good and in general good value for money. Would highly recommend. If you come to surf be aware that there is no good places to rent proper surfboards nearby🏄‍♀️"

If you want a beach holiday it's a little far but if you enjoy the cultural aspects it's a perfect spot. Just a little uphill.

"Just that the main gate gets locked and you will have to call or knock until you are heard. So don't stay out for long at nights."

Kjøkken der du enkelt kan lage egen mat, ellers er det mange restauranter og markeder i nærheten. Rent og mer enn nok toaletter til alle (vanligvis et problem på hostel). Følte meg komfortabel selv om jeg vanligvis foretrekker kvinne-sovesal."
