Dumbea sur Mer is basically a boring suburb of McMansion houses and a shopping mall.

"One of the best places we have ever stayed; we really did not want to leave. Super high quality apartment and very comfortable. Well equipped for a holiday stay (but no oven). Lovely views across the mountains and also down to the lake. Easy walk down to the lake with a nice hotel/restaurant and even a small supermarket at the bottom of the road. About another 20 minutes into the town itself, along the footpath. So great location; peaceful and quiet without the Bled town crowds and traffic."

The hot water system will drive you mad - if, like us, you were brought up not to waste water! And bring your own shower gel etc.

A more defined path can be made from the parking to the entrance.

Honestly nothing to complain about. Entrance is in the alley way and up a spiral staircase.

Staying in a whole house was great! The location allowed me to spend very quiet and comfortable nights. It was conveniently situated close to the coastal road and within easy walking distance. And the location was also on very good spot, kind of centre location to visit the important places in beirut. The highlight were the staff and their behavior. Just little bit of issue in internet but we only spent night time at the hotel so was not that much of a problem.

"The room was comfortable and the bed was nice and soft. It's a great place to chill out for a day or two away from all the tourists and you can see a more local side of Aruba. Ac and wifi worked really well and you could use the kitchen for coffee. Jay and his dog were really helpful and friendly."
