"Olivier was an excellent host! Him and his girlfriend were extremely welcoming to us. They have created such a homely space in a quiet and scenic area surrounded by vineyards. There's fairy lights in the garden, a lovely table space out front to have breakfast, well stocked kitchen utensils, plenty of books/ dvds, and a very comfy bed! They have decorated the property beautifully and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would definitely book again!"

"The accommodation is compact but perfect for a few days' stay, providing all that's described in as-new condition, and perfectly clean. Even though we had two greyhounds with us there was enough space and we didn't feel crammed. We stayed only for a couple of days during a rather cold blast, but the place felt always toasty. Daria was an excellent host, very helpful and friendly, she made us feel very comfortable and welcome while also responding to all our queries and addressing any issues very promptly. We were also offered some great tasting homemade treats on our arrival, which were very appreciated. The location is very peaceful with lots of picturesque buildings all around. Using the jacuzzi in the early morning hours was super relaxing."

"We had a fantastic stay with Claude & Valérie, charming hosts with a beautiful property. The room was extremely comfortable & spacious. Perfect location too.... It's about 10 mins walk along the river to the centre of town. Breakfast was delicious and homemade to order. Nothing was too much trouble. Claude is a very interesting man to talk to. We shared lovely conversations about his life, family, work and travels. He gave us lots of recommendations for exploring Saintes and Royan. We hope to move to the area in a few years and Claude helped set us up with a local estate agent (his daughter) who handily spoke fluent English which was incredibly helpful as our French isn't great at the moment. The perfect stay."

"Stille, god atmosfære med fine omgivelser. Hageanlegget og bassenget er et veldig pluss. Beliggenhet til den flotte stranden, butikker og den nydelige båthavnen med flere restauranter og barer. Det er ikke lagt til byen, kun ca, 15 min med bil. Leiligheten er fin og inneholder alt man trenger. Oppvaskmaskin, vaskemaskin. To strandstoler og parasoll til å ta med seg på stranden var veldig greit."

"Hosts very pleasant and happy to explain the many features of the unusual venue. Great views and an opportunity to see deer in the early morning across the fields. Facilities excellent and well appointed. We cooked a full meal which was easy. Would visit again."
