"It's a well refurbished apartment in a traditional house. It is located in a very pleasant town with lots of cycling and hiking routes nearby."

"Location was excellent for reaching all of the things we wanted to do in the Roya Valley. The apartment itself is basic but clean, bright and comfortable and has a good high pressure shower. Parking is on street and you need to ensure you are back early enough to secure a spot. Thank you Claudine for your care and attention, and Pierre for touching base often. Tende is an amazing medieval maze and we are so happy we visited."

"L'appartement était parfaitement propre, les draps sont doux comme à l'hôtel, un bonheur ! Tout le nécessaire y était, nous n'avons manqué de rien, il y a même une super machine à raclette. Les meubles et escaliers en bois donnent l'impression d'être dans un chalet, et il y a une vue magnifique sur les pistes. Le propriétaire est très sympa et les indications pour accéder à l'appartement étaient simples et claires. L'emplacement est génial, on peut partir faire une balade sur le lac qui se trouve juste derrière ou profiter de l'ambiance village du Val Claret dont la rue principale débute au pied de l'immeuble. Boulangerie, sherpa, pharmacie, épicerie, restaurants ... tout est accessible en quelques minutes à pieds. Il faut certes un petit peu marcher jusqu'à la remontée mécanique la plus proche (5min) mais ce n'est pas en montée ni compliqué comme j'avais pu le lire dans les précédents commentaires."

Badminton , soccer equipment etc readily awailable .Bowl of welcome plums(we´ve visited in august). Plenty of info leaflets inclusive full version of guide book (french version ).Full satisfaction."

"The welcome from the staff at Chez Sophie was really good. I was made to feel at home. The greeting over breakfast was just right. The service at dinner ( I stayed for 3nights) was super, the waitress amusing and informative. The food was delicious. I was initially on the second floor but changed to the firsr floor on my request. That was easier - there is no lift - and the shower was more accessible for my big frame. The view from the window was good, likewise the parking. This is a traditional rural French Logis with a welcoming and decicated family running the 9 bedroomed hotel i a pleasant part of Normandy. It is a good find for anyone who likes "la France Profonde" Bravo Chez Sophie!"
