"On arrival from the outside it appeared closed down. However it was a great surprise. Really beautiful establishment. Spacious room with super-king bed with nice white linen. Quirky decor. Excellent À la Carte restaurant appears to very popular with the locals, really is something special. Attentive staff, no English spoken but we managed with Google Translate 👌"

"There was nothing not to like. Only criticism would be the bathroom. Shower over the bath doesn’t have a proper bracket facing downwards so we ended up with a drenched bathroom plus the towels were very rough and not fluffy. An English speaking news channel would have been nice, otherwise a very enjoyable stay."

"We had a very nice room. Very large with a great bathroom. The room had lots of the owners individuals ornaments and style which really made it interesting and felt more like you were staying in a wealthy relative’s home. The TV was extra large and had a DVD player and music system. The restaurant was lovely and bright and the food very well done. All the staff were very attentive and helpful."

"The entrance to the property is actually off the main road (along with a few other properties) and on its own single track road that ran alongside the main road, which is fine in itself. The only issue we experience was that cars were outside of the gated entrance and to either side, which made it impossible for us to turn our car into the entrance from the single track road. We have to drive back out onto the main road and cross over a pavement area to be able to get through. The turning circle area once inside was also very tight for longer vehicles. We were driving a BMW 8 Series car. We had to go into the back parking area, which was empty thankfully."

"A beautiful house, well adapted as a hotel. The decor is unusual but interesting. A short walk to the town centre, where we had a good dinner. Parking was easy and secure. Breakfast was excellent."
