"The property is lovely, rooms are big and just lovely. Mark is a great host, really accomodating and friendly, nothing is too much. Doggies are super friendly too. Breakfast is great. Highly recommend if you are visiting this beautiful area of France. It's a great place to base yourself! Lots of room to park, lots of outdoor space. Great place for cycling too."

"The host, Marc, was excellent. He was friendly, welcoming and extremely helpful in making recommendations about our stop-over in the area. The location is magnificent and in true rural isolation yet close to main routes. The rooms were great and as you'd expect in a rural property, were characterful with old exposed beams. We had all the facilities we needed and the benefit of an extensive outdoor atea in which to park and to have breakfast in a thoughfullt shaded situation. This is the kind of welcome and quality of stop-over that I'd be very happy to return to when opportunity arises. Excellent in every way."

"La Ruche was a wonderful find. The rooms were immaculate and the little touches left by the owner Marc really took it to the next level. The grounds were also magnificent and it was lovely to sit out in the evening and enjoy the summer sun. Marc was a wonderful host, so helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was fantastic, with fresh pastries, juice and hot drinks. If we are passing through this part of France again then we would definitely be rebooking to stay at La Ruche."

"Great place and a great host in Marc. We were made to feel very at home during our two day stay We especially liked the alfresco breakfast and the omelette and poached eggs prepared my Marc. Marc's two dogs were fun and very friendly too. However, if you're not a fan of dogs he will happily keep them out of the way. As l say, a great stay and a great host."
"I really liked the accommodation and the setting, however, our room had a low ceiling in.parts, mainly due to the beams, making it a little awkward for me at 6ft 3in. The room is probably best suited for those under 5ft 8in. If we were to return we would book the room opposite which has a much higher ceiling."

"Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, tout était absolument parfait. Le logement est décoré avec beaucoup de goût, très propre et vraiment chaleureux, on s’y sent bien dès l’arrivée. Le bruit du train est très discret et ne perturbe en rien le calme du séjour, de jour comme de nuit, ce qui est vraiment appréciable. Un grand merci à Sandrine pour son accueil et sa disponibilité, c’est une adresse que nous recommandons les yeux fermés et où nous reviendrons avec plaisir !"

"We were welcomed warmly on arrival by Jean Claude with a cold beer and a friendly reception. The house is spotlessly clean and the bedroom is comfortable and cool with air conditioning. We had use of our own space within the fridge which was great for keeping our beers down to temperature. Breakfast was prepared by Jean Claude each morning with fresh bread, croissants and coffee. The pool is very peaceful and relaxing. Jean Claude and Veronique welcome you into their home warmly as friends."

"The apartment was in a great location and it was clean and comfortable, we booked to arrive the same day and the hosts were accommodating of this and responded over message quickly. It had everything you need if you wanted to make food (oil, salt, cutlery etc). Just be aware it’s up 6 flights of stairs, this was fine for us but avoid if you have any mobility issues."
