"St Joseph is a fabulous old château, full of charm and character with the accommodation, kitchen and bathroom very well furnished. We loved the flow of the rooms and the beautiful courtyard gardens, plus the owner (Regis) was super welcoming and helpful and patient with my super limited French :). Easy direct train ride into Paris Gare du Nord (45 minutes) for our visit to the Olympics"

"We had a wonderful stay. A short walk from the train station. Can't comment on parking as we didn't drive. Gorgeous old mansion turned BnB. Beautiful walled garden. Well decorated throughout. Bed was very comfy. Hosts were lovely and very accommodating."

"Breakfast was a little bare but the bread was tasty and the coffee on tap. It's an old house so you can hear some noise from the pipes and floorboards etc so if you're a very light sleeper may want to bring ear plugs. There is no traffic noise as it's on a side street."

"Unfortunately, we had car trouble and arrived a day late, but the owner Regis and his wife Anne kept in contact, ready to accommodate us upon arrival... Approaching the building from the side street in the car, you were instantly intrigued by the blue double doors and walled courtyard and as to what was waiting for you behind them.... WOW !!! .....we was not disappointed....it was a very authentic french residence, which was unspoilt and original... a true french experience.... This was originally Regis's family home.... You were instantly blown away with the size of the wooden beam running through the dining room and entrance ... The garden was completely walled off and very private.. Sitting out there enjoying a glass of wine with cheese was so relaxing... The original wooden doors, staircase, flooring, and artwork just blew me away... It is located in a lovely area and not too far from the town centre.... Also, central to many of the sightseeing and attractions in France..."

"That the bloody car broke down and made us a day late, resulting in us missing out on 2 nights at this beautiful home "Hidden Gem"......and village..."

"Die Villa ist aus dem 16. Jahrhundert und zu Beginn sind wir dran vorbei gefahren, weil wir dachten es ist zu schön, um wahr zu sein. Das Haus enthält wahnsinnig viel zu entdecken (Kunst, Geschichte, Architektur), der Garten ist unfassbar schön… fast wie aus einem Jane Austin Roman. Ausserdem liegt das Haus zentral in Crepy und man kann fussläufig ins Zentrum. Parken ist überhaupt kein Problem, denn direkt vor der Kirche ist ein großer, überwachter Parkplatz, auf dem man wunderbar parken kann. Der Hausherr ist extrem nett und zuvorkommend und man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Empfehlenswert, sich auch mit ihm über die Geschichte des Hauses, das seit über 200 Jahren in seinem Familienbesitz ist, zu unterhalten. Alles in allem ein wunderbar gelungenes Wochenende."

"De voelbare rust van honderden jaren. In een middel eeuws smalle straatjes deel van het centrum van Crépy-en-Valois ligt een plek waar de tijd heeft stilgestaan. Zorgvuldig gerestaureerd ademen alle balken en muren de rust van honderden jaren. Alle zorgen en haast verdwijnen. Timber begroet je blij snuffelend bij de enorme poort die het domein ontsluit. Even later loopt Regis de gastheer met onze koffers te sjouwen. Twee trappen op, omdat we het mooiste en grootste twee persoons appartement kregen. Vol antiek en kunst en inspirerende moderne kunstzinnige decoraties. Linnen lakens. Eigen keukentje, alles vergezeld van de uitleg en de charmante lach van Regis. Ontbijt helemaal top en alles wat je maar kunt wensen en een binnentuin waar tussen de rozen en de appel boompjes een enorme schildpad rond kruipt die een bronzen beeld blijkt. Op de gang en in de kamer verse bloemen, bossen salie, in een oude vaas. Dit is nou precies waar wij bij elke boeking op hopen, en soms komt een droom uit!"
