"Very unique location in an historic building! If stairs are not difficult for you it was a very fun place to stay! Host was quick to answer any questions we had."

"The bed was comfortable but the sheets were a bit rough/ a higher thread count would make it more pleasant. We found parking a bit stressful but along with the hosts detailed instructions and helpful locals, we figured it out. One night we ate dinner in and had purchased a frozen pizza but there was no pan on which to cook it. That would be a helpful addition to the well stocked kitchen along with pot holders."

"Superbe maison ancienne sur 3 niveaux avec beaucoup de charme : pierres apparente, poutres, escalier en pierre etc... Calme et très bien situé dans la jolie ville de Bayeux, avec commerces et sites de visites tout proches. Venus en train et vélos, nous avons bien profité du coin, des musées et balade sympa en vélo jusqu'à la côte avec la Batterie de Longues-sur-mer. Contact avec la propriétaire très sympathique."

"Lots of space especially for a solo traveler. Prime location on a quiet street but right in the heart of the old town. Property had everything needed for a multi day visit. Especially appreciated having a functioning kitchen, which was a treat since the local markets have amazing ingredients. A nice change of pace when you want a break from restaurants."

"Very charming space. You enter to a ground floor that is clean and functional, but small, but then up the stairs is a very roomy living space and a large highly functional bathroom, and then up the stairs again to a roomy and charming bedroom under the eaves."

"I would warn about the stairs - very charming and rustic, but because of their authenticity they are a bit uneven and tight. Wonderful for those who can easily navigate, but tricky if you depend on regularity."

"We absolutely loved our stay here! We felt like we were living in the gatehouse of a castle! Located right in the center of town, we could walk everywhere. Our hostess was very helpful, always making sure that we had everything we needed. She left us a gift of local cider, which we loved. All of the usual amenities were provided, including soft, fluffy towels and a washing machine. The apartment was beautiful, with a very large and comfortable bed in a gorgeous airy cathedral ceilinged bedroom on the top floor. Well equipped kitchen on the first floor and an open floor plan living room and dining area on the second floor."

"The apartment is exceptionally quaint and is clean. It is well-located to be in Bayeux, one block outside the busiest area. It is easy to walk from there to anywhere in Bayeux. It is quiet. I loved the old stone and wood that are part of the apartment. The host was very responsive and very nice."

"Nothing that I “did not like,” but the front door and the larger window in the bedroom could be tightened or squared-up at the hinges so that they open/close cleanly."
