"Beautiful rooms with terrace area attached to the main house but you felt very separate. The bonus here is the pizza restaurant run by the couple at the entrance to the house. The pizzas are made in a wood fired oven and are fabulous. The restaurant is run by the couple who are very helpful, friendly, and efficient. We really appreciated the great food and service after having completed a busy season in catering ourselves. Breakfast was also very good and plentiful. Lovely walks for our dog on the doorstep also a bonus. Thank you for a lovely relaxing stay."

"Quaint and comfortable and use of a swimming pool potentially from May-Oct. Good stop for us with travelling quite a bit further South not taking us too much out of way . The landlady friendly and speaks a little English . Liked the pizza meal and a great breakfast . Nice shower the place clean"

"Location is a only a little way from the city centre, but you need to catch one of the very frequent and cheap trams (free on weekends). My room, one of two in the hosts house, was a good size and very comfortable. Plenty of power points. Kitchen area is shared with the host, Bruno, who was very helpful. It has all the amenities you need and space in the fridge for your food."

There was a good choice for dinner and breakfast and an extensive wine selection, including local Alsace wine - there is also an award winning winery and cave next door which sadly we did not have enough to visit.
