"First time at the Experimental and got an upgrade! The staff were super friendly and made me feel so welcome. The decor was super fun and I loved the smell of the room as soon as I walked in. The little details like an adaptor in the room and the gorgeous bath products were really great. Also..the bed was so comfortable. One of my best sleeps.Also loved the proximity of the metro. Can't wait to return!"

"Our most hospitable and attentive owners, Tress and Patrick, are dedicated in their commitment to give their guests the best experience possible. The house has been tastefully restored to a very high standard in decoration with comfort in mind combining old, and new where required. The rooms are lovely and well equipped. Linens are high end. There is everything you need. We had ordered a meal on first booking and we were not disappointed. Three courses all cooked and presented with care. The breakfast was amazing. The house, furnishings, hosts and the setting are second to none. I can't give more than 10, but Tress and Patrick deserve it. Exceptional and outstanding."

"This is a super little hotel right in the centre of St Omer hosted by a warm and friendly family who are passionate about their business. We slept very comfortably and ate dinner in the restaurant. Both the meal and the service were fabulous and good value. We also ordered the continental breakfast which exceeded our expectations, was of very high quality, and very filling. The owner bakes his own bread fresh daily to order. He is passionate about his food and we witnessed him buying fresh local produce from the market early that morning to include on the menu later that day."
