"Really comfortable bed (think we stayed in Mirabelles) with beautiful linen-style bedding. Delicious breakfast served in owner's family kitchen, along with other guests. We enjoyed coffee, crepes, homemade apple juice and jams, cheeses and lovely seeded bread. There are approximately 4 ensuite bedrooms in an old, barn-style building, which share a spacious communal area full of quirky antique furniture and design pieces. There is also a farmhouse kitchen - complete with the original manger for feeding animals - where you can cook an evening meal if you wish. This would be a great place to host a multi-generational family get together."

"Location convenient a a stopping off place rather than a base to explore. However everything was truly exceptional. Safe on-street parking outside the entrance in a small village/hamlet where everyone we passed said bonjour. Very good welcome from the host and conversation over breakfast. Our quiet downstairs room was very large with a lovely view over the fields, clean and uncluttered but with all you might need and everything working well. Decorated with taste. There was a kitchen for guests (4 rooms max which we didn't use. We expected a typical sparse French breakfast for the price but it was exceptional in quantity and quality with homemade jam, cake and crepes plus cheese selection."

"The start of the stay was somewhat embarrassing, we were tired after along drive, and my husband freaked out that his beloved vehicle will get the bottom scraped on the way down hill to the guesthouse. The host patiently babied us down, there was no issue at all. Oh well, embarrassing indeed. The rest of the stay was pure pleasure. In addition to the most scenic view from the terrace and large windows, the place is tastefully decorated with mid century furniture and lots of interesting details. A good bed, a proper kitchen, plenty of space to relax and a wonderful gentleman as a host. La Bouille is a charming and characterful village, we always stay here on the last night of the holiday before getting on a boat from Dieppe. Mind, the working hours of the few shops is a part of the charm, dont expect things to be open all the time, you’ve got to time it. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will try to book when next in this part of the country. Merci beaucoup Antoine."

"We liked the location close to the Orangerie Park. There are restaurants, grocery store, bakery nearby. It’s not far to walk to the Cathedrale or Krutenau. The neighborhood was surprisingly very quiet. Nice bathroom. We enjoyed the watching the Storks in their nests nearby. We did find free parking in the Quinze, across the Blvd. Marne."
