"We visited Lomakylä Atimo in the beginning of August. The accommodation was great, located in a quiet patch of forest with a view on the lake. The hostess was very friendly and easy to reach. The lounging area at the lake was really comfortable and had a collection of row boats, sup boards, and a canoo to use for free. Reindeer were often foraging around the house. Oulanka National Park was only a 20 minute drive away and the absolute highlight of our trip through Finland. For a rainy day we can really recommend the war museum in Salla at about 40 minutes driving."

"Super cozy cottage directly by the lake. All basic needs are fulfilled, bathroom is spacious and very clean and has a Sauna. The location is directly by the lake with access to boats and a cozy boathouse. The owners were very nice and helpful and we enjoyed our stay here very much."

"This is the typical Finnish mökki or guest cottage, located near the water in the woods, far from the hustle of any city. It fulfills it's puprose perfectly: you can stay face to face with the nature, with all the comfort you might need. The house is not big, but the surface is used effectively. Nice interior design, light and cosy. Good matresses, comfy bed. Kitchen has everything you need, up to salt, pepper and oil. Nice attentive host, advised us beforehand to take extra warm clothes as weather was going to be cold and windy."
"The bathroom area is a bit outdated, however functional. There is no dishwasher in the kitchen, and the oven is pretty small (no problem for us, but maybe for someone else). Electric car owners need to know that charging their vehicle is not possible at the cottage, power grid is not good enough. There is no path for hiking directly from the cottage, due to it's location between two lakes."

"The cottage was cozy. We really liked the fireplace and the Private Sauna. The cottage is right next to a lake which ich perfect to see northern lights. Even with -25° it was comfortably warm thanks to all the heaters. Marianne, the caretaker was lovely and very helpful. We would love to come back. The location is great as well, national Parks and ski resort only ca. 30 minutes drive away."

"Rauhallinen kiva paikka luonnon keskellä. Sijainti oli sopiva erilaisten päiväretkien kannalta. kaikissa ilman ilmansuunnassa 100km säteellä oli paljon nähtävää ja koettavaa, joten viikko meni rattoisasti. Vaikka oli kova pakkanen, lämmintä riitti ja avotakka kruunasi tunnelman."

"Jeg likte utmerket godt hvor enkelt det var å finne fram, komme til- og få tilgang til leiligheten. Utleier var veldig imøtekommende, hjelpsom, hyggelig og vennlig. Leiligheten hadde høy standard, og god tilgang på alt man trenger for ett lengre opphold. Saunaen var utmerket. Vi ønsket å komme oss litt utenfor sentrum, da vi hadde egen bil, og beliggenheten var perfekt landlig, men sentral nok for en kort kjøretur til sentrum. Veldig stille og familievennlig område. Det var laget et lite hefte med masse god informasjon om opphold, leilighet, nærmiljø og vertskap."

"- a comfortable apartment for 4 people, with two separate toilets and sauna. It is not very spacious but sufficient. - I loved the terrace (huge one, almost like an additional room) and the view on the golf course - the apartment is well equipped, in the kitchen you will find all the utensils, tableware etc. Some equipment is not perfectly clean but I think it is a matter of the guests (we are asked to clean after ourselves) - the location is excellent. Easily accessible by car, lots of forests and lakes around. Several hotels nearby, good infrastructure for practising sorts (including a swimming pool). 20 minutes drive to Lathi. 5 minutes drive to Sale’s (retailer)."
"We spent a few days in August here with friends. The house is real well equipped and we found everything we needed. The kitchen was especially well equipped! We spent most of our day relaxing on the beautiful porch overlooking the lake. There were a few other people staying in units close by but it was still very quiet and peaceful. We even found a big patch of chanterelle mushrooms in a nearly forest. This is definitely somewhere we will want to return to."
