It felt like being completely disconnected from everyday life and fully immersed in the peaceful wilderness. Christine is an great host. She takes such loving care of her guests and is always attentive and genuinely committed to making everyone feel welcome and comfortable. "The host was exceptional. I had passport issues and the lady helped me get to a number of different embassies, and also drove me outn of hours back to the airport when my airline changed flight. Outstanding service. Note that there are no facilities onsite, so come equipped."

"The host was very friendly and made tons of arrangements for us. He picked us up from the train station, drove us to the grand canyon, and also drove us to the caves. He made a delicious Chinese breakfast that was included and we also paid extra to eat dinner there as well. The hotel is nice and quiet and pretty close to the Grand Canyon - though you will probably still need to drive there."

"Complete privacy, it's wonderful! Before our arrival, they turned on the heating and warmed up all the rooms, it was very touching. We were busy during the day so we didn't get to enjoy the beautiful views. The hosts are friendly and at the same time respect privacy, which is very valuable."

I didn't have enough evening light. But we didn't spend much time in the evening, we went to bed early. If you have poor eyesight like me, take care of your glasses.Also, my feet were cold, I didn't bring slippers, if this is important to you, don't repeat my mistakes
