The atmosphere is relaxed and peaceful, making it a perfect getaway. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully arranged. Christine is an great host. She takes such loving care of her guests and is always attentive and genuinely committed to making everyone feel welcome and comfortable. "If you’re feeling tired from work or from life, this is the place you should come to. I highly recommend staying for at least 10 days. I stayed for 40 days, and during that time, my body and soul were healed — I feel truly happy now. My days at Petit Martel felt like being in paradise."

"The host was very friendly and made tons of arrangements for us. He picked us up from the train station, drove us to the grand canyon, and also drove us to the caves. He made a delicious Chinese breakfast that was included and we also paid extra to eat dinner there as well. The hotel is nice and quiet and pretty close to the Grand Canyon - though you will probably still need to drive there."

"Cute place with lots of quirky garden ornaments everywhere. Our little house was everything we needed. No English spoken which was fun. Breakfast was very filling. You definitely need a car to get about, which was fine for us as we are on a road trip."

"The hosts were very friendly and sincere in their service to their guests. The breakfast and dinner were good. We tried their apple cider tasting board and I really enjoyed it. We had bonfire after dinner and the children enjoyed gathering dried grasses to add to the fire. The owner even brought us to their mushroom farm and showed the operation of the farm, which we were very impressed. Hope to visit Cider Barn &more again, maybe in another season."

It was quite a challenge driving in the dark to the accommodation. It’s better to reach there before sunset.
