"We stayed 4 nights and absolutely loved this place. Our room was amazing - huge, clean, comfortable beds, and good facilities. The front staff were so lovely - professional, polite, attentive, but always very genuine too. They helped with everything. Hotel facilities were great, we made use of the gym, pool (cold at this time of year, but very refreshing!). Breakfasts were nice - you can order from a choice of 3 set breakfasts or construct your own. Although the restaurant doesn’t serve lunch or dinner you can order outside food to the hotel and the staff helped get it to our room. They even made us a bespoke breakfast the night before our departure as we had to leave early in the morning for our flight home. Just an amazing place and experience all round and we cannot recommend it highly enough! Thank you Maran team!"

The location is excellent in the heart of District 5, close to a large mall, all amenities, and only 20 minutes from the airport. The à la carte breakfast was very good, and the staff were professional, attentive, and welcoming. I would gladly come again."

"Lacking crockery and cutlery in the room, with no facilities (sponge, washing up liquid) to wash your own dishes. Housecleaning staff were happy to swap these over for fresh plates and cutlery. No shampoo or body wash supplied."

"Exceptional service from the front desk clerk Mr. Fadi Gerges. He made our stay lovely and easy, he helped with everything inside the residence and even helped us arrange our outings. The residence itself is very good. The room space is amazing. Even if the area is a bit FURTHER than other to tourists attractions i would definitely stay there again."

"Amir Palace Hotel is located in a working-class neighborhood near the station. I’m the side streets there are all kind of small shops and market stalls. The staff of the hotel do not speak English very well, but they are friendly and helpful. They arranged for me to travel to Abydos by taxi and with a translator to visit the famous Temple of king Seti I and the 5,000 year old enclosure of king Khasekhemwy."

"I was kindly allowed to do an early check in due to the overnight travel from Cairo and was picked up from the centre. Amany was great and very friendly but the only english speaker in Seliya. The place is located away from town centre so it's not affected by its noise , however I didn't sleep for 2 nights in a row because of the hotel's dog barking in the internal garden.. which went on for hours in the middle of the night... This was the big and only minus for me. There is not much going on near the hotel but the tuk tuk to town is only 40 Egyptian each way and Amany can arrange food delivery if needed. The place is really pretty and lots of places in the garden when you can hang out or relax, mosquitos permitting. Would be nice to see some mosquitos traps so that the time in garden is more enjoyable."
