"The property is a bit hard to find at first, but it is close to restaurants on the West side of Luxor. The room is very big. Personeel was very kind and supported us with some tours and the balloon flight."

"We really liked our stay in Happines Guest House. Our host - Mohamed was very nice and helpful. He picked us up at the bus station and took us to the guesthouse. Mohamed also booked three trips for us, and each one was a great success. The organization was excellent. Breakfast was nice everyday. We were given tips for our sightseeing and where to eat. Rooms and bathrooms were clean and spacious. We really enjoyed our stay there."

"This place is amazing. Do not underestimate it by the path leading to it as the area is still developing. It’s a newly built/renovated place and the rooms and bathroom are super clean and spacious. The breakfast is decent. The host Mohammed is a very welcoming and helpful guy. The hotel help Saeed is also kind and helped me get to the pharmacy late at night when needed. Its location might be a bit tricky to find but you can call on the property number listed in your booking and Mohammed will help navigate. Or else, you can follow the signs of “Villa Kayan” from the main road and it will be the last building on your right in the same street. This place is 100% recommended for a peaceful and comfortable stay in Luxor."

"A home away from home. The managers (Moustafa and Amir) and even the owner Mr. Mohammed went out of their way to make my stay as pleasant as possible. They helped with the tours and i had amazing time with their chosen driver (Abed) and guide (Ahmad) who is very well versed Egyptologist. I had an amazing time. The best service quality ever."

"Amir Palace Hotel is located in a working-class neighborhood near the station. I’m the side streets there are all kind of small shops and market stalls. The staff of the hotel do not speak English very well, but they are friendly and helpful. They arranged for me to travel to Abydos by taxi and with a translator to visit the famous Temple of king Seti I and the 5,000 year old enclosure of king Khasekhemwy."
