"The cleaner had to me in to leave my bags and return for check in at 3pm. It was entirely possible that a room may have been ready but there is no-one to ask. That is the problem with these "internet accommodations" self check ins etc."
"Former prison or detention centre turned hostel. Our cell was super tiny, not for a longer stay but for us for one night we had everything we needed. Good location, street parking in front of the building, self check-in. All great!"

"A Unique and Wonderful Stay in a Former Prison! We had a fantastic stay at this beautifully designed hotel, located in a historic former prison. The mix of modern comfort with the character of the old building is truly impressive. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The breakfast was absolutely delicious—plentiful, varied, and full of fresh options to start the day right. We also really appreciated that our bicycles were safely stored in the secure courtyard, which is locked in the evenings and overnight. One of the best parts: you can walk straight from the hotel into the charming old town of Wismar. The location couldn't be better. Highly recommended for anyone looking for something a little different."

"Very cozy and nice place. This place is basically a small camping ground with 3 huts in a backyard. But everything is just done very nicely and with love. The hut was very tidy and cozy and included sheets and towels. We slept under the roof, which was quite warm but got cool enough when opening both windows for a while, so unless it's boiling hot outside, this is fine. The bathrooms and kitchen are shared, but also those are very clean and extremely well done and decorated with love to details. So you definitely get a very comfortable and clean camping-like experience."
