"Staying here was one of our highlights in Costa Rica. This is quite remote place in the middle of the forest so you can't expect too many amenities but that's part of the experience. To get here you have to cross the river multiple times, preferably by 4x4 taxi. We've seen tucans, falcons, tamandua and other animals. Alan who welcomed us here is a great guide and knows everything about jungle. He also prepared delicious meals for us. We even had a chance to meet Rebeca who is the owner of the station and biologist. She explained us a lot about her research projects, wildlife and local environment. This place is great for the nature lovers."

"The hostel is very well organized. The rooms and shared spaces are regularly cleaned. There is warm water in every shower. It's very close to the beach and if you fancy some sightseeing on shore you can rent a bike. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Fully recommend."
